This song reminds me of "Turn Me On", in fact I always got them confused when it first came out 2 years ago.

WHAT?!??!
This song is SO OLD. Years old. soo oooooold.
I love it more than any of these dance reggae hits though; I've been blasting it myself since last March!

I was at a bar last night and they played this (and Turn Me On, remix with Alison Hinds)...but yea, it's almost 2 years old, if not older. z103 started playing it in March 2003, after the "Turn Me On" craze of 2002.
It's good, but people are going to think it's Kevin Lyttle's next single...not sure if that will help, or hurt Rupee's chances for a hit here. It might be too similar sounding to Turn Me On, but then again, people might be hungry for another similar sounding song, since Turn Me On is such a big hit (On Pop anyway). If Turn Me On cant be a hit on Urb/Rhy, then neither will Rupee.

I think this is the best of the reggae singles we've had of late, it's the only one to have a chorus with like a choir... I really like it

it's not a choir but i don't know what to call it. "Before the end of the night, I'm gonna hold you so tight, you know I want you so much, and I'm so tempted to touch" is sung by a bunch of backup singers together. Most of these other song's don't even have backup, much less a bunch of them singing on the hook. It's nice.

But only KXME in Honolulu seems to play it with 58 spins this week. Nowhere to be heard on KDDB and KIKI.

This is getting a lot of airplay in NYC on several stations.
It's not bad but sounds like a "Turn Me On" knock-off, but only a fraction as good.

I might have liked this song if it didn't sound like "Turn Me On". I'm so tired of that song I really couldn't give a crap about this song at this point even though it's decent.

Also the name Rupee makes it hard for me to take this song too seriously... sounds to much like RuPaul... I'll get over it though.

Tempted 2 Touch was a big hit on z103.5 in the months following the "Turn Me On" explosion in the summer of 2002. Tempted 2 Touch was popular and a #1 hit on z103 from about February-April 2003. I think they first started playing it in like February or March of 2003.
It was quick following the heels of Turn Me On with the whole soca explosion on that station.
