The second single from Shock Value. The song samples Salt N' Pepa's late 80s hit "Push It". Jim Beanz provides additional vocals and Sebastian is featured on the video/remix version. One of my favorite jams from 2007.

I liked this, but preferred Apologize and Give It To Me.

Oh so good. I personally prefer Apologize, but another killer. Nothing on his latest matches that set of singles.

It was my least favourite of the Shock Value singles at the time, but it's the only one I still listen to. There's a mash-up with Alice DeeJay's "Better Off Alone" that I adore.

I was obsessed with this back when it was released. This is definitely my favorite single released from "Shock Value."

Great song, perfect for summer of 2007. The trio of Apologize, Give it To Me, and The Way I Are is amazing, he was really on top.
I love the ending of the song when you just hear the vocals mainly.

Does anybody know that there was a OneRepublic remix on this song? Man, that was great, but not very different, though. "What's mine is yours girl, and what's yours is mine."

This was one of the hottest songs of 2007 - perfect in every way, right down to the "Push It" sample. Definitely the best of the singles from this album.

The lyrics are so annoying. "Baby if you strip you can get a tip" and "can you handle me the way I are" being the two most painful examples. Otherwise, musically I do love it. It's really catchy and easy to jam to.

Loved this song back in 2007. It was so good. It brought Keri Hilson to pop radio for awhile.

The lyrics were off putting, but the production made up for it, just a tad.

I was surprised that the melody behind Tim’s verses were Keri’s vocals back then. No wonder they weren’t included on the instrumental version. You can hear them clearly at the end of the OneRepublic remix.

Ah...back when Timbaland was everywhere and Keri was just getting started with her career. I think it's good but it's not great.

Kind of overrated, but Keri Hilson does a really nice job here and the production is pretty good!

One of the songs from the electropop era that still manages to sound futuristic
