 So, her lipsynching is a COMMON occurrence?! I will never understand the need to lipsynch a RAP song. C'mon people, it doesn't require being on pitch, in tune and there aren't notes involved! |

Well, I could kinda hear her rapping live in all of the performances, so it's not hard to believe that there were some problems. Plus, this is BET. They always have some problems. Mic problems also occurred at other problems during the BET Awards. For anyone who has seen Nicki performances, they know she would not opt to lip. That bitch loves to scream and yell out lyrics like a psycho.

Those BET performances would've been great if they weren't lipped. Didn't she come out to perform 4 different times? And each time she had the same issue. It was annoying to see because it brought the energy down, imo.

I don't think there was an "issue"....she was clearly lip synching. I don't know why though. I loved her performance with Drake on Jimmy Kimmel earlier, it was cute.

I just watched and in quieter parts you could hear her yelling. I think the problem was because she was always wearing a headset. None of the other performers were. I'm no Nicki stan or even fan, but its clear she wasn't lipping. I could hear her. Plus, why the fuck would she need to lip? |

Thanks for the video. So the problem wasn't that she was lipping, it was BET's crappy sound engineers. She probably wanted a backing track and it sounds like what they did was put the backing track up front, but only for the TV audience. I really wish I can see the performance again but with fixed audio. BET needs to get their s*** together! |
