Follow up single to the top 20 hit "Dirty Little Girl". This has been steadily gathering airplay on Active for awhile now. Could do decently. Adds date: January 12th.

I know that song. It was on SmackDown vs RAW 2009. And another thing: what took them so long to release a 2nd single?

I was thinking that too, but then I just thought of Taproot and shrugged it off.

exactly. back to the song, it's the heaviest song of the album.

It's also probably the best song on the album too.

This sounds better than "Dirty Little Girl."

I love how he sounds a little like Ozzy on the line leading up to the chorus.
Agreed that this is better than Dirty Little Girl. Surprised they would wait this long to release, hopefully doesn't hurt them in the end.

HOT REMY ZERO REMAKE
Seriously though, this will probably do good on Active. I forgot where the last one peaked though.

Despite the fact that I'm a huge Shinedown fan, that was the first thing that came to mind for me as well.

Personally every time I read the title I don't think of a song called "Save Me", I think Carolina Liar's "Show Me What I'm Looking For"......"save me, I'm lost, oh lord I've been waiting...."
This song is still pretty good though, I wonder if it will ever knock that lyric out of my head.

I don't know who you are but I love you. Haha, obviously I don't come on here very often, but I just couldn't let that one go by! One of my favourite songs of all time. :)

I hated "Dirty Little Girl" but this is DECENT. I don't like it anywhere near as much as I liked "Tonightless" by Eighteen Visions though. That song should have and I believe would have been huge if they hadn't pulled it in favor of "Victim" while "Tonightless" was still moving up the charts.

"Tonightless" by Eighteen Visions should have and I believe would have been huge if they hadn't pulled it in favor of "Victim" while "Tonightless" was still moving up the charts. I agree with you. (And "Victim" was so mediocre for them.) In fact, 3 years ago during my Alt station's former lunch hour segment, where listeners got to submit their 5 song playlists, I actually got to sit in the studio live with the DJ for one of mine, which is another story. I had a theme for my playlist, which was "Radio Singles That Should've Been Huge." "Tonightless" was one of the songs. (The other 4, for the curious, were Avenged Sevenfold's "Seize the Day," The Used's "I Caught Fire," Evanescence's "Lithium," and Atreyu's "Shameful.") I keep meaning to check this song out, since the consensus is it's superior to "Dirty Little Girl," which even Synyster Gates couldn't make into an actual good song. I guess I'll have to stream it from their MySpace or something, since the Cool New Music section for All Access's Active/Rock combination format is poorly maintained, much to my chagrin. (You can still stream "Dirty Little Girl" there instead, for instance.)
