I like the song and I think she did a great job! I would like to see her sing songs that are a little more grown up but overall I really like her!

Will there be a video for this? I would assume so, although I haven't heard anything about it yet. The song is about to break into the top 20 on Mediabase! :) In other Taylor-related news, "Today Was a Fairytale," her single from "Valentine's Day" is #1 on iTunes.

I'm thinking this confirms it: from Taylor's twitter.

Do we know if the video shoot was for Fearless? I'm going to be gutted if it was for Today Was a Fairytale and Fearless doesn't get a video.

I would assume "Fearless" since she was with the entire band, but who knows; I could be wrong.

I'm guessing the director is NOT Trey Fanjoy since she was shooting Lady A's new music video at the same time Taylor made that tweet.

It's probably coming in a few weeks. Taylor's MV's tend to lag her single's add dates.

I thought she was shooting a video for TWAF, this isn't getting one. Right?

I thought she was shooting a video for TWAF, this isn't getting one. Right? We never did get confirmation of a "Fearless" video, just that she was shooting a video. And seeing that "Today Was A Fairytale" has been released to pop, it's very possible that that is getting a video over this.

Which is stupid, this is in a whole 'nother league than that garbage.

Maybe her slow transitionin to Pop is finally going to happen being that she is having singles released exclusively to Top 40 Radio.

She needs a break at country radio after this single anyway. That movie song is not very good and needs to be kept at pop.
I am hoping the first single from her third album is very uptempo. I don't want a Love Story/Fairytale part 3. And she needs to do a power ballad on the next album too.
As for now, glad to see this doing well, Fearless is my favorite song from that entire album.

And seeing that "Today Was A Fairytale" has been released to pop, it's very possible that that is getting a video over this. I would bet anything that the video is for 'Fearless'. I think TWAF officially being released as a single was kind of a given after it's sales success. Radio stations were already playing it before it was released. Afterall, it set digital download records. Although, I think the vast majority of that is due to it being new Taylor Swift music and not so much because of the song itself. Which I agree, isn't all that great. I mean, it's fine for what it is. A soundtrack song for a romantic-comedy, but it's definitely not anything special. Taylor said she wrote the song a while back but it didn't make the album. And there are reasons it didn't. I'm looking forward to her next album though and I hope she shows a lot of growth on it. And it's not just "Fearless Pt. 2".

With all the highs and lows she's been through the past few months and Taylor's predilection for writing about events in her life,it's almost a given the next album will address a lot more serious themes than just boys/high school romances.

With all the highs and lows she's been through the past few months and Taylor's predilection for writing about events in her life,it's almost a given the next album will address a lot more serious themes than just boys/high school romances. I hope so. But then she was asked very recently if she was going to tackle the Kanye thing on the next album and she pretty much said no. That the focus will continue to be on boys/love. That, combined with a list of songs she's written that were recently added to BMI's database, make me afraid the new album will just be a continuation of the last one. I know it's not much to go on, but a couple of the titles were "He Lies" and "Castles Crumbling" which sound like songs that could've gone on Fearless. Especially the latter. "White Horse" part 2? But if she's going to write about relationship stuff, I would LOVE nothing than more for Taylor to have a serious, long-term relationship with someone. Because she's such an amazing songwriter, she just doesn't have a great deal of experience to draw from love-wise. Her most recent ex was a 17 year old she dated for a couple months. So I can't wait until she has more serious feelings and more mature relationship issues to write about. I have a feeling that her love/break-up songs will be more or less what we saw on the first two albums until that happens for her.

Fearless the album surprised her fans who were expecting more of the same of her debut.
Taylor gave little indication about how Fearless would turn out in the interviews leading up to the release of her sophomore album.
I think she'll keep things close to her chest and won't be giving much away about album#3 in her interviews. One thing we can count on is to be pleasantly surprised for her next album.(IMO)

Well, the Fearless album was more mature and consistent than her debut, but her debut had more ballsy lyrics (Picture To Burn) as well as her greatest song and her career song (Tim McGraw). I just hope that she does not play safe with the next album. I want something gritty. Its not like she can keep her teen fanbase forever anyways, they grow up too.
As for the Fearless video, I hope it resembles the photo from the album where she appears to be dancing in a dress between the spotlight of pickup trucks, that is a really cool concept and I would love to see the full visuals/video for that. :)

I actually really enjoy Fearless. It's one of the only singles from this era that doesn't make me want to bash my head against a wall. So I really hope the video is going to be for Fearless, and not for that God-awful Today Was a A Fairytale garbage.
(edit: Just realized this thread is for the single "Fearless," not the album. I'll take my other comments to the Taylor thread.)

has anyone a youtube link to the video? For some ridiculous reason CMT.com does not play overseas. God forbid people outside the US actually like country music
