Hm you can still watch it on youtube. Good video, infact. I can't. In fact, when I search for it, your video doesn't come up. Do you live in America? I'm American. I'm in London... at the minute, though. That obviously explains it.

Still the best song on the CD for me. Hope they score another chart topper.

Video is kind of overblown, but I guess the upside is that it's not the typical live-performance/tour-diary, late-single music video.

I don't think this will get higher than Top 40 on Active.

^ Same. The last era was far more successful on Active.

I'm guessing number #39 or #40 (Billboard wise) if this can reach the top 3 or #1.

I always thought Kings and Queens would reach at least Top 15 on Active. It's more friendly to the format than, say, From Yesterday.

Part of why the 'A Beautiful Lie' era did better on active than the current era is because, going into that era, they were seen as an active rock band from their debut. Even though the lead single, "Attack", ultimately did better on alternative than on active, it appeared on active first and the song only did its damage on alternative after it had already run its course on active. "The Kill" was bigger on alternative out of the gate, but at this point, they were still only one single removed from being an active rock only act.

I'm not sure radio had quite decided yet, though, given "Capricorn" wasn't exactly huge on Active. "The Kill" ultimately swayed it, that was a pure Alternative song and things went from there with "From Yesterday", although that was an inch away from hitting Active's top 10. They're going to struggle to chart on Active from now on, other than with lead singles.

Unless they suddenly go space-metal again (which I would be totally fine with), then that's likely true.

Eh, I'm fine with them being an Alternative based band.

Most people are; that's why they're a heck of a lot more popular now than they were on their debut. Nothing from them will ever touch "Buddha For Mary" in my book.

I didn't really get into "Buddha For Mary" until I'd seen it live a few times, but the live performance alone made greatness out of it. Jared would always find something to climb up and (usually) jump down from, like a wall, a balcony, a 50 foot electrical tower, etc.
But he's an old man now, and he not only doesn't do that anymore, but he also seems to have forgotten what his first record was, as evidenced by how he was saying "Here's one for our old-school fans out there", only to play "A Beautiful Lie", and that turned out to be the earliest record they played anything from.
