I read in the top 40 and hot ac threads that you compiled your "unofficial" year end lists based on what methods Casey Kasem would have used...just curious, how did you compile this list?

Casey used Radio & Records' year-end charts for his year-end countdowns (expect for the year 2000) until the Mediabase/R&R split in 2006. Afterwards he used the Year-to-Date chart (minus the recurrents) which starts January 1 with a cut-off date during the 2nd week of November in lieu of the official PDF year-end chart which includes spins from December of the previous year. In 2006 and 2008, the cut-off date was one week before the PDF year-end chart final date; in 2007 it was the same week although the YTD date ends one day before the PDF date for the 7 day period. This year I chose the cut-off date at November 13, one week before the PDF cut-off date because that's how it was done for Casey's year-end shows last year.
