The Kaskade Radio Mix 3:42 (yes, it's real) has been floating around since couple of days ago. Better than his "Bad Romance" mix, but still not feeling it at all.
Let's see who else has remixed this.

The Kaskade one really sucks.... I don't know, I don't feel it. The Main song is just PERFECT!

Chew Fu's remixing this and it's pretty freakin' dope. Should be leaking shortly after the New Year.
He plays up those blippy vocal snippets from the original which I think works really well in the final mix. Plus, the vocal effect he puts on the "Up in the club and I'm sippin' that bub" is just fucking fun.

DJ Dan's is pretty nice. I love how he incorporated the telephone sound effects, and how they were pitched to be both melodic and rhythmic.

I like the guitars on the MING remix but the chord progression on the chorus is slightly off and doesn't sound so great. If the mix had been a full-on rock-dance thing with a fixed chord progression it would be a pretty hot remix next to all the straight-up club reworkings.

While the Telephone remixes may not have appealed to everyone, it was still a well put together package. Less mainstream than usual, that's all. It's not like they hired people from Jive's Fail List (TM).

Not sure what's going on with that. It deserves to be released because it was definitely one of the top 3 mixes of this track and kept a lot of the original's energy that some of the others seem to be lacking.

There was a hot tribal mix of this that Junior Vasquez played at the Pachita event last month. It sounded like a Nick Harvey mix.

Liking the preview of the Chew Fu mix as well. This is one of the few Chew Fu mixes that I have actually enjoyed upon the first listen.

I love that he stuck close to the original and just amped up the things I love about it.
The wonderful DJme/Matt Bailer point this out, and I think the Chew Fu mix really highlights it, but did Gaga/Darkchild sample this:

Sorry for bumping such an OLD thread like this but: I just downloaded a Chew Fu set that includes a remix for this song called "Telephone Chew Fu Playmate Fix" which I thought it was the same as the one from that YT video above but it's not! It uses elements from it but it's a different production, does anybody know if that "Playmate Fix" leaked? p.s. also, the same set includes his remix for Bad Romance, which is slightly different, with few news elements than the one released. |

well I mean it obviously leaked in some form if you downloaded it (even if it was in a set). Where'd you findout about these?
I always kind of assumed that the YT video above was a leaked demo version though
