It had some good moments, but overall was too repetative and did not fill the 5 minutes well.

I pretty much love it, but imo it needs a little less BEPs and a lot more Gaga.

This is BEYOND perfect. If I were a radio programmer I'd be using this to advertise year end countdowns and put this on a QUICK high rotation. Obviously it's time sensitive but for the next 3 weeks or so this should get a ton of airplay.
I've liked his mashups in the past, particularly his beatles/scissor sisters/george michael/aretha mix and genius GENIUSSSSSS! Annie Lennox megamix.
This is right up there, one of the best mashups I've ever heard.

I didn't hear "Love Story", "Gives You Hell", "Blame It", "The Climb", "Best I Ever Had", or "Hot 'N Cold" in there at all on the first listen. It was very BEP- and Gaga-heavy (and Jay Sean-heavy, for some reason). Still pretty good.

The Climb/Halo parts are genius.
Blame It is basically the chorus.
Gives you Hell, Love Story, Best I Ever Had and Hot N Cold's parts are very small but add great harmonies to the mix.

It mostly revolved around the word 'down', and the DJ did an amazing job at implementing the use of the word to keep flow in the mashup. I now can't believe how many of the top songs from the year had 'down' in such a prominent way. I heard Down, Boom Boom Pow ('if you wanna get down'), I Gotta Feeling ('we'll shut it down'), Knock You Down, Halo ('tumbling down'), Right Round ('when you go down down'), Use Somebody ('I was looking down') and Best I Ever Had ('cause she hold me down').

This was actually really well done.
And as a side note, I didn't realize The Climb had done *that* well that it made the year end top 25.

'The Climb' did as well as it did due to strong support from AC and Hot AC, I'd imagine. ;)

United State Of Pop 2007 > 2008 > 2009. This is the DJ's worst mega-mix so far.

Um, where is Britney?!!!? this is trash. Lmao. If Britney had had a top 25 single for 2009 on Billboard, it would have been included. DJ Earworm doesn't pick the songs, he just mashes 'em.

Um, where is Britney?!!!? this is trash. Sitting @ #27 with "Circus," #39 with "Womanizer," #74 with "If U Seek Amy," and #88 with "3." DJ Earworm only uses the top 25 tracks, which are all included in there. No more, no less. So that's why Britney is not there. 001-The Black Eyed Peas-Boom Boom Pow 002-Lady Gaga-Poker Face 003-Lady Gaga Featuring Colby O'Donis-Just Dance 004-The Black Eyed Peas-I Gotta Feeling 005-Taylor Swift-Love Story 006-Flo Rida-Right Round 007-Jason Mraz-I'm Yours 008-Beyonce-Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) 009-Kanye West-Heartless 010-The All-American Rejects-Gives You Hell 011-Taylor Swift-You Belong With Me 012-T.I. This is amazing. It makes up for all the shitty mashups that have appeared throughout the year.
It makes sense musically, and has a good amount of lyrical coherence, which is sort of rare these days.

Horrible. It was just basically "I Gotta Feeling" part deux.

Horrible. It was just basically "I Gotta Feeling" part deux. He uses one track as the base for the song for most years (Viva La Vida last year and Umbrella for 2007) and I think of all the songs in the top 25 IGF was probably the best song to use as the base track because it could be used in tandem with so many of the other songs. Therefore I think it's a little unfair to say that it's horrible because it's essentially IGF part two because it was the most intelligent way to frame the mash-up. Also, I heard this on WIHT Hot 99.5 in DC today!
