Gaga could've been #1 if they wouldn't separate The Fame and Monster..

i bet you that Lady Gaga's "The Fame" will end up getting number 1 in the next few weeks, which will be 16 MONTHS since its release. that's impressive, it reminds me of No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom" which also took 16 months to get to number 1. Go Gaga for new peak (and soon to be number 1) and Rihanna for going gold and going strong with less radio friendly album!

I love that she wears every wig she snatches, and $10 says she's wearing Susan's rat's-nest by the end of January.

i bet you that Lady Gaga's "The Fame" will end up getting number 1 in the next few weeks! What's the release schedule this month? She wont take it next week, Either Ke$ha has to take Sue down or she's going to take another week at #1 --- She has to take #1 before the Grammy sales week because the winner and Taylor (or just her if she's both) are going to get bigger bounces.

GaGa has a shot at the week after the Grammys as well actually. Performance + Possible wins + Telephone racing up the charts + Hopefully the dropping of the Telephone video in that week = #1?

Bad Romance has jumped from number 4 to number 2 on itunes, "Telephone" is getting more adds at radio and is steadily climbing up itunes, plus the distance in sales between susan boyle and number two is narrowing and will continue to narrow after the post-holiday surge.

I think Gaga will get screwed out of the #1-not that that is terrible. Some cds just never hit it and get there by longevity. I bet she will drop down significantly next week and Subo or even Alicia/Kesha pass her until newer cds or Grammy surges pass her.

I bet she will drop down significantly next week and Subo or even Alicia/Kesha pass her until newer cds or Grammy surges pass her. I think January with sales being so low is going to be one of the few chances it has left to hit #1. She promotes like any new artist. So she has a chance.

Lady Antebellum owns the week before the Grammy's, and the week after is (I believe) Valentine's Day, so that's probably a SuBo mother-of-all-bounces back to #1.
IMO, Gaga needs to win the Jan 12th-18th or 19th-25th sales weeks. Next week is gonna be ugly, no more countdowns and school break to goose her numbers.
Delete the EP already, The point where anyone was buying both (STANLEYS) is done. Now, it's just new business buying one or the other.

Looks like Taylor wins...that's still sad that she almost caught her. She has a good shot at outselling Fearless
But enough about IRRELEVANCE....THE FAME is #2. WOW!! WOW!! and TFM is still selling so well!

Looks like Taylor wins...that's still sad that she almost caught her. LOL. How sad, attempting and failing to turn someone's undeniable success into failure. I very much doubt Boyle will approach anywhere near the figure Fearless will end up at (in regard to the US). With the holiday sales rush gone and with no hit single her buzz will continue to fade and her album will continue to slip. Still, Boyle's huge accomplishments with this album are remarkable.

^Yes Good to see a new peak for GaGa. Let's see if it can make it to #1. I'm more interested in next week's chart to be honest, I want to see how much Ke$ha makes.

Looks like another probable new Billboard 200 peak for The Essential Michael Jackson.
This week's chart should see most holiday albums out of the top 200- will other catalog albums re-enter, or will current albums that had fallen off in the holiday album rush return?

Paramore should see a nice jump in the BB 200 and I hope Rated R is able to go back to the top ten.

Worldwide Subo has a very good shot at outselling Taylor, but in the US Taylor's got it in the bag. She's got over 2 million on Subo and soon their sales will probably even out and there won't be too much of a difference. Even if Subo sells 70,000 more than Taylor for the next 30 weeks, she'll still be behind.

Gaga could've been #1 if they wouldn't separate The Fame and Monster.. They are charting it just as they should. Actually, I think that since The Fame Monster deluxe edition is a deluxe edition of The Fame Monster, sales for both albums should be combined instead of combining The Fame Monster deluxe edition with The Fame.
