On artists who can really sing:
Now aboout the comment made on chinie, I add the topic again:
Now i really do think there aare pop start out there who can really sing. Not everyone given a song to sing have a voice, and not everyone with a voice can write a song, a note, a lyric or anything even.
Voice
Mariah Carey - Vision of Love (Proof that high pitch yum). League of her own Mariah is.
Whitney Houston ( A different kind of RNB Queen. Thats all. Salute)
Celine Dion: ( And if you love me like this. This artists is a league of her own but I wont say I havent heard someone who i think could clearly immitate her vocals easily. Celine is special and has a wonderful. I dont think Celine can do a Mariah Carey vocal, it would need someone who either can sing opera or things like that to cut that edge and most cant because they dont sing that way. I am talking of someone who naturally has that sort of vocals. Celine is a wonderful singer and she has a wonderful vocal.
Amy Winehouse (Deep manly voice yes she can do. Back to Black is still one f the best of Amy Winehouse's tracks I ever heard. She has got that different edge.)
Chinie ( Any one ever seen this. One person industry. Amy Winehouse' vocal she can do, ( See one song called 'I smell'). Must be scary. Leona lewis vocal she can do. Mariah Carey with little effort I'm sure she can do because Chinie has got an operatic voice and could also pass for an opera singer. See 'Dont Be Afraid'. A Celine Dion song will be easy to do more in her natural route see 'Bless My Day'. What is the difference between an Amy Winehouse style and a female Opera singer? No comments for now. Chinie has every ability to give Amy Winehouse a run for the money should she go the deep throat route. Would do well as an opera singer. Too new so wont win any grammy. Saw the grammy list and who'd clean up.
Leona Lewis ( Good voice To be honest but reallyonly in moderation in comparison to real talents really out there.. More
something we have seen before in the whitneys of this world, nothing new). I quite like her last record but nothing new or inspiring.
Alicia Keys ( Love this artist. Did you see the last track she did with Jay Z? New York? She proved her talent once again there. Sharp cut voice things she can do but not really a variety vocal artist. Alicia has her style, love Alicia.
Norah Jones ( Mellow yes thats Norah Jones. Didnt know who she was a few years back but as you see things on TV and hear more of her, I was impressed. But all she does really is soft tender music. Not sure if really to call it jazz as some describe it or urban. But great music.
Toni Braxton ( In a league ) Toni Braxton has got a type of vocal I quite like and I really think she is a great singer. Always
Dolly Parton ( When it comes to country music, they dont do them like they used to do them anymore. There are not many country music singers today who specifically do country that know how to do so. They have really lost the edge is the only way to put it. Dolly Parton in my opinion is still queen of country. Her voice has that old time thing. What we are looking at here is who can sing, not who has been given a good song to sing. Its about vocals. Dolly you are one great singer.
Fantasia: To be quite honest, I 'm not sure where to put artists who made it big using the reality show route. Obviously the person with the best voice amongst the competitors, not the whole country had win that competition but it dont mean they are neccessarily good singers. Fantasia is good but with the competition in America, has a long long way to go.
Please this post is not for artists that cannot really sing, just mentioning artists confirmed as having vocals that do things, not neccassarily with a good song.
