Ultra is performing this wknd with DJ Escape at Club 57 in NYC and the flyer says she will be performing, "HEY DJ" the lead single off her new album. The flyer also says there will be new mixes of "Free" out this year. I can't help but wonder if Escape is remixing one or both since she is performing with him....

A clip of the original version of "Hey DJ" is posted on her MySpace. The song immediately calls to mind "Boom Boom Pow."  Remixed it will probably be much better. New mixes of "Free" could be good, but I prefer the main Mood II Swing, Full Intention, and M&S mixes from 1997. I sort of liked the mixes from 2005 but not that much. |
