So Halo (the haiti version) didn't chart at all or is added to Halo (album version) It just missed the chart -- was probably 201 as it sold 10,554. Her performance seemed to have just as big an impact on the original version as it was up about 8,500 downloads.

I guess Madonna's Like A Prayer missed the Top 200 too.
The last sales total we had for LAP was 51k.

Thanks, bks. I inquired earlier, but what are the sales you can find for "Like a Prayer"? It had been missing the key sales from the original album version, which always has been ranked near the top of her sellers on iTunes. As of 11/08, only The Immaculate Collection (and live) versions were listed. Still the case? I'm thinking the Haiti version may have done 5K this week.

Too bad Taylor didn't debut #1 on the hot 100, but it's still awesome the song sold 325,000 copies. I'm very very happy for her.

So Womanizer's first week record = broken? Yes. But she'll reclaim it with her new album. ;)

bigham: As noted, the live LAP's sales will be tracked separate from any previous versions. And, the 51K figure was VERY incomplete. How difficult is it to fix a tracking error? Must be a lot, as it's been almost four-and-a-half years. lol Hopefully bks has some info (or, I've also inquired to Billboard's Silvio on the matter- he said he will look into it).
RE the records- they're always going to be broken by someone- what's that old saying, again?

I guess...top female week outside of post-Xmas.
Arguably also top week for a solo artist outside of post-Xmas.

^"Womanizer" was the top debut sales week since 2004 for a female track- which also happened to be the biggest non-post-Christmas sales week for a female, too.
fridayteenage- I wouldn't say that, as Ke$ha was not credited (or paid) for 'Right Round," so that track would be a solo track. it's all about the credits. ;)

I don't understand why Swift's Breathless didn't sell more considering sales for her last releases. Because live singing is not Taylor's strong point. She makes great recorded music though.

Well, I should have put female "solo-track" in there. :) There's always ways to spin these records.
I'm most interested in the record for highest third-week, non-Thanksgiving-or-Christmas-week, non-fall-or-winter-months sales week.

Incredible for Taylor! Kinda glad it didn't get to #1 though, it's not worthy of being her first.

I'm glad TWAFT isn't Taylor's first #1... It's just not the right song, you know? Hopefully the lead single from album #3 does it.

Let's not go with the "worthy" thing, again. ;) Now, if you want to say it's not "worthy" because it has basically no airplay, that would be more fitting.
A #2 sales-driven Hot 100 debut is pretty darn impressive, though.

I meant it's not "worthy" in that it isn't an actual single.
