I find it sad the chart is so tainted with pop singers. I wish this was a true dance chart. If someone like frenchie gets blocked for number one by someone like Rihanna, I will prob stop checking this chart

well it's tony moran feat frenchie davis. frenchie is not what's making this song a hit. i mean she is talented, im not saying she's not. tony could have had martha wash, kristine w, deb cox, deb cooper, nicki richards, etc sing the song and it would still be a hit. of course the song is a true dance song....it was written as a dance song. it's not some pop song or ballad that he was given the remix treatment. it was created for people to dance to. is that not clear to you???????

And wtf does it matter if it were made for people to dance to? So are most of the pop tracks that frequent this chart. It's not like it's filled with a bunch of Hot AC acts getting the remix treatment against their original nature. Just because you don't dance to pop/hip hop tracks does not mean that they're no relevant on a 'Club' play chart. The dance acts appear on here when they are relevant outside of a circuit party, which fortunately/unfortunately is rare these days.

tony brought this project to frenchie but obviously she was doing it to become a dance singer. she had a failed attempt with that shannon cover and she has performed at many gay pride events and circuit parties...singing the songs i just mentioned as well as dance classics such as "never can say goodbye, boy." you think you're right and i know i'm right so what's the point of us talking about it anymore? THANKS

Looks like soon Rihanna will be in the T10 of most dance #1's. I wonder if she and Beyonce will remain the top dance artists from this generation. Though Gaga with her next album may compete.
