Hmm. Well at least we can assume it's not a Collective Soul hot remake.

Hot Pillar remake of a hot Collective Soul remake!
I was actually expecting it to be a cover, then I could've said: "Hey, Pillar just released their version as a single too."

Same, though I hope they can break this 2 album streak of one epic song in the lead single then pure mediocrity the rest of the way

I hope they can break this streak of one epic song in the lead single album then pure mediocrity the rest of the way Respected, although I think the first two albums were both stellar, then it started going downhill. Though I'm going to admit I was a lot more pleased with last album than I was with "Seventeen Days." Overall the self-titled was also mediocre, but featured more highlights than "Seventeen Days."

Seems too soon. Maybe that's just me. I feel the same way, but mostly because they're still playing Let Me Be Myself on the Geico commercial every day.

I thought Seventeen Days was far better, I could'nt get into the last album atall, except for the lead single.

Yeah, when you look at the numbers and the time between their other albums, it makes sense. It's probably just me. I thought Raditude was fairly quick too.

Basically less than a year and a half since Red Album, which came out in June of 2008.

it's good although I don't think this is gonna be anymore than a digital promo. This has absolutely no pop appeal and it's a fast rise/fast drop slight top 10 on active at best

AWESOME! 3 Doors Down went Metallica lite.
The beginning has some striking similarities to "Wherever I May Roam"

AWESOME! 3 Doors Down went Metallica lite. The beginning has some striking similarities to "Wherever I May Roam" I love "Wherever I May Roam": the sitar, the riff, but most of all that thunderous accented 12-string bass note that repeats in the intro and again whenever that riff returns in the song. That recurring note gets me so amped. I didn't even fully appreciate it until sometime within the last 5 years or so.
