This may sound like a weird question but how many of you download or own every song that enters the top 60 on Airplay? I do! Even downloaded the YouTube audio for Kane Brown's cover of "Drift Away" a few weeks ago since it's not available for purchase. I have a "Current Country Chart" playlist that I update every week based on the Billboard top 60 (I use the Comments column to keep track of the song's peak as well as the year in which it peaked). I also put current singles that are outside the top 60 in that playlist as well.

Otherwise I use Spotify to listen to what doesn't come out on CD. I had iTunes years ago but after getting the wrong songs several times and never getting anything done about it I gave up.

Otherwise I use Spotify to listen to what doesn't come out on CD. I had iTunes years ago but after getting the wrong songs several times and never getting anything done about it I gave up. I buy just about any country album on CD I don’t have. Christian and Rock are my other main genres I listen to but only buy top 10 radio singles from the genres. My country CD collection is too massive to support anymore rock or Christian CDs. About a year or 2 ago I had to box them up into storage to make room for more country albums. As far as songs that reach the top 60 on Airplay I buy them if they appear on the chart and keep them as singles until an album is released if the artist ever releases an album. Examples in the last being Greg Bates or Tuck Beathard. Anyways to quote FGL I love my country (mainly 80’s & 90’s)!

Question on the Billboard Hot 50 country chart. I noticed the Bubbling Under the 101 to 125, a country christian song is there in between Russell Dickerson and Jon Pardi. I thought Matt Stell was lower than Jon, but I was wrong. Now that Zach Williams and Dolly Parton's There Was Jesus being played on the small markets. The Hot 50 Country do not have the song anywhere. Did Billboard made a mistake? Dolly Parton still can draw young and old and all genres.

Video of the chart. 3 new songs and 1 re-enter. Very unfortunate that Porter, Jones, and Quayle left the chart.

Video of the chart. Good to see Jones and Denning back. 2 new entries as well. To Hell & Back should be removed soon, and hope Maren will release a new single.1

How many weeks does it take for a song to be purged/sent recurrent? To Hell & Back has lost audience two weeks in a row and unless there’s a miracle, I’m thinking it’s going to lose audience again next week. So will it be going away next week or will it need an additional week of negative update?

Video of the week. 1 new song and 1 re-enter. Morris, Midland, Urban, Paisley, and Alaina should be or should have been sent to recurrent. McBride seems to have regained its momentum.

Looks like we have not one but 2 new entries in the top 40 tonight. Bon Jovi/Jennifer Nettles diet and Gabby Barrett’s second single. It also looks like Brett Young has finally re-entered the top 40 with “Lady” as well. Looks like we had a nice little housecleaning week.

Video of the week. 3 new songs Bon Jovi song is alright. Love Janson's new single. Will be #1 in about 28 weeks. Locash's new single is okay. Don't feel like it will be #1, and if it do, will be in like 48 weeks. Like Gabrielle, but it should go recurrent.

What’s up with the chart histories on Billboard? Did they take them down?

What’s up with the chart histories on Billboard? Did they take them down? I assume they’re doing some sort of revamp on them because they’ve been messed up for the past few days now. That revamp probably includes taking them down for the time being.

Wow, number one for Tanya Tucker on the Texas Regional Radio chart. Is Texas radio a big deal (I’m in Canada so not so familiar with the Texas charts),

Wow, number one for Tanya Tucker on the Texas Regional Radio chart. Is Texas radio a big deal (I’m in Canada so not so familiar with the Texas charts), Country artists that had hits in the mainstream in the 80s and 90s making a run on the Texas charts seems to be kind of a mini-trend at the moment.. Tanya Tucker with this track, Tracy Byrd is featured on a song with Texas artist Jody Booth that's currently #11 on the TRRR.. even Randy Travis and Terry McBride have singles promoted to Texas Radio.

Pardon me for my ignorance, but why does Texas have a separate radio chart? Does Texas Country Radio play different songs than regular Country Radio?

Pardon me for my ignorance, but why does Texas have a separate radio chart? Does Texas Country Radio play different songs than regular Country Radio? Texas radio has had their own chart for many years now. Texas stations do play some mainstream hits, but they also play a good majority of Texas regional and Red Dirt artists. There are many artists who are hugely popular in Texas that most of the country (average mainstream radio listeners) know nothing about.
