JP is a big MESS! sorry but that mix doesn't go anywhere It had some parts that were really good but when all put together, it is an absolute mess. No energy or natural ebb and flow. I felt uncomfortable listening to it. With JP, many of his mixes are either hit or miss. Either great hits with songs like Jessica Folker "To Be Able To Love", Paula Cole Band "I Believe In Love", Whitney Houston "My Love Is Your Love", Mono "Life In Mono", Amber "Above The Clouds", Karissa Noel "Corrupt", and Christina Aguilera "Hurt" or total disasters like this, the Charice, Donna Summer "Love Is The Healer", Led Zeppelin "Stairway To Heaven" and more. Of course, who programs and engineers can make a huge difference. And people do go through 'dry spells.' He did some really great mixes of Donna Summer, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Sylver Logan Sharp, and the Brand New Heavies during the last couple of years, but lately it has been pretty bad. |

I don't think anything can top the album version for this track, because it has so much attitude, pretty much flawless on it's own. I do like the Tommie Sunshine mix, although I wish it was a little harder. Still have to hear some of the others, but I'm not looking forward to JP's after what you guys have said.
I agree with Lovermaker that JP's mixes are either amazing or awful. There is no middle ground with him.

Are remixes being released on Amazon and iTunes. Currently, only iTunes has one mix. I guess the got some type of exclusivity. Wonder if a full maxi single full of mixes will be released soon to both outlets. Do you know?

Are any of these official remixes any good? After having heard all the mixes for a little while now, I don't find myself liking any of the official ones. However, I do like the unofficial mixes by Trypsin. |

OK thanks. For Rihanna to be a "dance" artist, the official remixes this era have been underwhelming. I've only liked the "Hard" remixes.

I still think there is so much remix potential with Fire Bomb. I think it could be her biggest clubland hit with the right remixers. The melody and lyrics are just begging for it. |
