Drop the price to $0.99 and give it a front page banner and Adam has his first Hot100 #1! labels should that rAther than wait 6 months to see if the song will be a hit the give it some big promo  Actually that's a brilliant idea. |

Holy crap :o Shocked to see this not only hanging around the top ten but actually moving up on iTunes! Idol bump is over but the song is clearly benefiting form the visibility on the main page...oh and the fact that PEOPLE LIKE THE SONG!  |

They should have given this song a banner at the beginning or sometime after it made the Top 20 on airplay. Clearly, it just being visible on the front page is doing wonders for the song. Idol bumps don't last 2 weeks. People are buying it because they like it.

Is it a committee? I can't remember the details. Anyway, I agree the fact that he's still selling means that people really like the song!  |

This is how WWFM is charting all over the world (overall iTunes): US #9 Canada #13 Germany #4 Australia #6 Sweden #8 New Zealand #6 Finland #3 There's some other countries, but I'm too lazy to look them up.  How long ago did we find out that WWFM was double platinum in Canada? A month? Must be a fairly sure bet for triple platinum up there. Canada sure does seem to love them some Adam Lambert. |

Actually WWFM is back at #1 on Canada HAC today (#4 on Canada top40). WWFM must have dominated that chart for over 2 months now.

Wow. Congratulations to Adam for having his first Gold record in Australia! And to think, just 2 months ago when he went over there for promo, he was virtually unknown. Wow. Go WWFM!
So to recap:
WWFM:
US: Gold (Platinum this week)
Canada: Double Platinum
Australia: Gold

A Gold single in Australia is 35,000 units sold. A Platinum single is 70,000 units sold. So basically, it just needs to hang out on the chart for a while.

The AI differnce between them today is 28.5M AI in favor of Gaga, and I think Gaga probably has an advantage on streaming, so assuming the difference between them remains similar to today, I think he should sell about 31-32K more than her to gaurantee #10 this week. I hope it's possible. And mediabase, quit playing with the HAC board! Yesterday there were 100 stations in the panel instead of 101 and another of his adders was removed, and now it's back on? ??? I won't ask what's going on there.. |
