And what callout? Rate The Music? I thought we ignored Rate The Music because it's easily fan spammed? Wasn't that the theory when Crush always topped it? RTM is not the only callout out there. the song is getting awesome score on HITPREDICTOR too. and it looks like RTM found a way to control the AI spam, anyway. Kris is not in the top 10. |

lol this thread. For the love of God! Is RCA completely stupid? After wasting the hits "Long Shot" and "Don't Let Me Stop You", they're spending money on this flop transexual? RTM uses the same system it always used. Not every person coming off Idol got huge RTM scores--just the ones with the most hardcore fan bases. Kris's fan base is not as hard core, so I'm not surprised he's not in the top 10. On HitPredictor (which has been around for awhile) songs get scored before they're sent for adds by people who sign up and rate what comes on the jukebox. Yes, it's more accurate than RTM but if a fan base is aware they'll make sure to get as many fans signed up for HP so that when an artists song does come up, they can score it high. But yeah, it's more difficult to spam. That said, I've seen flops get high HitPredictor scores. HP only measures how much people who use the service like the song. A lot of stations rely more on local callout because it tells them what people in their area like. |

In addition to the cumulus surge, two additional Clear Channel stations also added bringing his total to 15 monitored this week for top 40 adds...he will probably get at least one more before the end of the day. I can't wait for all these adds to be reflected in his spins!!! |

Well, I can't say for certain, but I think the people in Kris's thread are willing to admit that Jive Records play a large part in getting LLWD as high as it is, because Jive is generally really great with debut singles. For some reason it's difficult for fans of WWFM to accept that RCA could play much of any roll in this song's success. It has to be that everybody just floves the song so much and it's a super smash just by being supah awesome. That's not how it works. lol. If it was then radio would sound a lot better than it does. |

Also, WWFM was recommended in AllAccess by many stations, and according to WLAN, Z100, and KZHT in FMQB Adam is one of the biggest expected hits this year. |

Well it went from consistently good scores all the way to the bottom the week WWFM was added to the survey. Even on HAC where LLWD was usually top 3 it was bumped out of the top 10 the week WWFM was added. Coincidence? Okay... RTM is a joke when a large fan base interferes with it. |

I never said some PDs didn't like the song. I'm saying it's not just about PDs and the general public just loving it and loving it and loving it. RCA has a LOT riding on this song because of what happened with FYE. And the mod at Adam's website admitted that RCA was working their butt off to get Cumulus to add WWFM. RCA had to work at this--the slow rise kind of demonstrates that. But that's okay, because who cares if it winds up doing well in the end?

Oh this thread is ridiculous and you only need to look at WHEN Kris scores start to drop on RTM and which new song was added, it happened every...single....time. Let's not act like there's not a direct correlation, some folks can be downright petty.
Its not excuses but the truth, RTM is unreliable especially in regards to hardcore fanbases. And yeahhh to sleepwalker, maybe this means they might go with that next sure fire hit, love that song. Great to see the cumulus add as well.

Cumulus added LLWD in the day it went to adds, was this a coincidence, lol? Cumulus added BBB two weeks ago.. you think RCA didn't work on that too? Hee. RCA had to work on Cumulus because this song was at #19 with over 600 bullet and yet they refused to add. They added AG, "Crush," and more when they were ranked much lower than WWFM, and they added Lady A that week even though it was ranked lower than WWFM. |
