I am BEYOND excited for this release. Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be releasing her new single, The Freemasons' produced "Bittersweet," (which is already being raved about) on April 26th. YAY! It's supposed to premiere sometime this month on radio.
Sophie's forthcoming fourth studio album, which contains collaborations with Calvin Harris, Ina Wroldsen, Cathy Dennis, Bloodshy & Avant, Armin van Buuren, Metronomy, Pascal Gabriel, Hannah Robinson, Richard X, Greg Kurstin, Kleerup, Fred Ball, Christopher Rojas, Julian Peake, Betty Boo, Liam Howe and Jim Elliott - sounds like it could be hot. That's a pretty big dance lineup!
As far as the single is concerned, so far we just have an extended remix and a dub but I'm sure there will be more.
1. Freemasons Extended 2. Freemasons Dub

Not as much fanfare for this track as i would have imagined. I don't think this is Sophie's best. It seems to evaporate from the memory seconds after it's over.

It's pretty catchy. I've been using the Freemasons.
