Black isn't a letter, it's a color, silly rabbit.

I presume it's a play on words. The Black Letter would just sound plain generic. Anyway, this is a nice dosage of Christian Hard Rock in the vein of Flyleaf.

The Black Letter would just sound plain generic. So does The Letter Black. (rimshot)

I would have assumed Black Letter to be a reference to black letter law and thought it an interesting name; Letter Black just sounds stupid, even with the band attempting to attach significance:

I'm saying if they wanted to distinguish themselves from being generic, they should've started with their music, not their name.

Black isn't a letter, it's a color, silly rabbit. Took the first 4 words right out of my mouth. ... ...So what was the joke? ???

I'm going to name my band "The Number Potato".....and that has a joke to it, if you've ever seen the movie The Ringer but it reallly makes as much sense as this bands name.
I will however judge them on musical content and not a name.

Black isn't a letter, it's a color, silly rabbit. You stole the snark I had formed in my head as a generality but had yet to convert into anything specific.

I just listened to this and was quite surprised because it's awesome. Definitely reminds me of other similar bands with female vocalists like Flyleaf, Halestorm, and Evanescence. I just hope this band gets somewhere unlike Within Temptation, which I never heard anything else from after "What Have You Done."

This was my favorite new artist of 2009, and this song was definitely my favorite. Their whole EP is fantastic, but the album keeps getting pushed back ( >:().
I know Chad Szeliga (Breaking Benjamin) recorded drums for them at some point, I don't know if it was for the EP, album, or what though.

I have to say the discussion of the name is a moot point once you hear the band. It is definitely way better than I expected (again showing, judging anything by a cover is worthless), I actually find her voice to be one of the best I've heard in the genre. Easily equals the competition in my ears. This song could do some chart damage, given a correct promotion.

Man, disappointing that this isn't doing anything Especially when it's a far superior song, to say, "Bury Me Alive". Would be quite sweet to check these guys out on tour with Red & Skillet actually.

Two floor seats cost me $38, and it's a relatively small venue in Raleigh. Definitely a steal considering I'll be seeing two of my three favorite bands there. I also considered going to see BB next week in Greensboro, but I just can't afford Nickelback prices right now.

From my research on all access, no stations added the song this week, and no station is playing the song 7 or more times a week. This either isn't getting ANY promotion or they didn't really send this for adds yet.
