Gannin Arnold is a 3 piece band (Guitar/bass/drums). Aside from Touring and being in-demand as a studio musician, writer and producer on projects ranging from Artists CDs to Film & Television, Gannin Arnold has recently finished his first solo CD "Not From Here". This CD will feature musicians Jimmy Chamberlin, Taylor Hawkins, Stephen Perkins, Simon Phillips, Pat Matelotto, Rudy Sarzo, Tony Levin, Tim Landers and more. Gannin knew he wanted to play guitar from a young age, inspired by the metal band videos that were being shown on MTV. His first teacher, Adam St. James, introduced him to the music of guitarists who would have a lasting impact on his own playing, including Jeff Beck, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Allan Holdworth, Brian May, Larry Carlton, Frank Zappa and more. Gannin is an in-demand studio musician, writer and producer and has recorded and toured with Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, Jeff Berlin, George Duke, K'Naan and more.
Taylor Hawkins may be best known from his playing in Foo Fighters but in addition to his drumming duties, Hawkins is also an accomplished rock singer, guitarist and pianist and took over lead vocals for Foo Fighters on "Cold Day in the Sun", a song on the acoustic half of the double album "In Your Honor" which was later released as a single, and "I Feel Free," which appeared as the B-side of "DOA" and the EP of Five Songs and a Cover. Live, he occasionally provides backing vocals and, at times, lead vocals while Dave Grohl plays drums. Hawkins has said that his drumming has been influenced by Roger Taylor of Queen and Stewart Copeland of the Police. He was voted "Best Rock Drummer" in 2005 by UK drumming magazine, Rhythm. Taylor Hawkins' recordings include: drum tracks for the Coheed and Cambria album "Good Appollo", "I'm Burning Star IV" and "Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow" and most recently complete the recording of by the late Beach Boys' drummer Dennis Wilson entitled "Holy Man" by writing and singing new lyrics along with Jackson United's latest album "Harmony & Dissidence".
