Wow. She's on Cash Money so she had to do one of those cheap Cash Money neighborhood videos. Awful. And that red Kool-Aid hair is a mess.
She looked nice on 106 with the normal hair, and she ripped the stage up with that performance.

Song isn't what I expected from my Momo, but, hey, what can you do...?
Video is a mess. Ugh. I miss her previous era! :(

gettyimages.com just type her name in the search engine. ==========
LIL’ MO PLANS TO SUE JA RULE
Singer Lil’ Mo says she is planning to sue Ja Rule, the already embattled The Inc. label and its parent company, Def Jam Records for $15 million, claiming that she hasn’t been compensated for a hit record she sang with the platinum-selling rapper.
“Back in 2001, there was a song called ‘Put It on Me,’ the diminutive singer told BET.com. “It was by an artist named Ja Rule and the song that came out was on video, the radio and released overseas. It helped sustain his album Pain Is Love because he was about to get dropped (from the label) to my knowledge. That was the song that helped [keep him with Def Jam].”
At the time of the song’s release, Mo said she was expecting a significant amount of income based on the publishing deal she struck with Rule and Murder Inc.
“I said [to myself], ‘Man, that check is gonna be crazy. I own 10 percent of the song.’ To my surprise, nobody ever did the administrative paper work,” she explained. “I didn’t take [an upfront] fee like I did with other songs.”
Mo said that the planned legal move isn’t a personal vendetta and added that her calls to Rule and The Inc. were not returned.
“I’m just handling my business," she said. “This is called the cleanout committee. I could have retired off that [money].” Mo says that her lawyers are working on the case but no action has yet been taken. Representatives for The Inc. did not respond to inquiries from BET.com.
Lil’ Mo’s new album, Syndicated: the Lil’ Mo Hour, will be released later this year on Cash Money/Universal Records.

Well of course she wants to be compensated. Especially with this flopping harder than Toni Braxton.
"Dem Boyz" is at 94 on Urban with 171 spins and a bullet of -20.

Lil Mo Kicks It SOHH Soulfully...
Lil Mo has always been that down to earth girl from around the way that could sing... no really, she can sing. Whether it was on "Superwoman", "4-Ever" or even her hit with Missy from back in the day "Hot Boyz", Lil Mo always stepped up the vocal game and gave the streets some of her own mama flavored style.
I had been hearing her new single sneaking around the club scene since Memorial Day weekend "Dem Boyz" pops off like a bottle of Crys and always she doesn't disappoint. The club banger kinda got that go-go drum thang happening and is the first pick from her new album Syndicated (The Lil Mo Hour).
Ok Mo', let's do word association. I'll say a word and you can say the first thing that comes to your mind. Oh, I love that game.
R&B. Lil Mo!!!
Performing. Off da hook!
Motherhood. The Greatest!
Amerie. Is she kidding?
Superwoman. Lil Mo!!!
Luther Vandross. DAGGGGG! Why him?
Aiight, so how do you feel about the current state of r&b? Thank God I'm back. Thank God for Fantasia. Thank God for Faith, because the other stuff that was coming out was not a good look.
Rank your vocal talent on a scale of 1-10 in comparison to people in r&b and hip hop soul. Imma 10.
Are there any songs on the new album that talk about your family life, especially since you have a new daughter and all. Yes, "Mother of Your Child" but also "Hot Girls" is a good one because whether you 2 or 200 you know women who battle with their weight....like I just had this baby and I lost the weight and came back down to my size.... so check that out.
So what else does Lil Mo have for us? Just know that I'm back ...so be ready!

this is the second time Mo has went at Amerie LOL
she said something about Amerie first in Sister2Sister Magazine about her writing a song about "being a father to your child" and that she should not sing it unless she lived it
LMAO but Amerie has never done such a thing. Bless her heart tho.

Mo is going crazy. LMAO @ her stab at Amerie. I can definitely say that if anything, Mo would come out victorious on that one... vocally and physically.

Lil Mo is out of her leage. Vocally she is a train wreck, and her music has gotten worst with each release. She makes Amerie look like the next Beyonce.

August 23, 2005 Straight Talk By Jawn Murray, AOL Black Voices columnist
Pint-sized R&B singer Lil' Mo may be small in stature, but she has some big opinions on the state of the music industry. The "Godmother of R&B and Hip-Hop" says that the new breed R&B singers are more concerned with being "overnight celebrities" and not focused on maintaining the integrity of the music.
Inside the Buzz
Lil' Mo on the state of R&B: "Nobody is real anymore! Singers are afraid to sing ... Most of them are more concerned with dancing instead of singing.
"Nobody is real anymore! Singers are afraid to sing," began Mo. "Most of them are more concerned with dancing instead of singing. These chicks can't stand alone, either, because most of them have their CEOs in their music video."
Mo says the reason for the current state of "watered down R&B" is "a lot of hip-hop men are behind the singers now." She continued: "They're only concerned with putting out a hot track and having their singers dance. But most of them can't even perform these songs live. At the rate we're at now, we're not going to have any more Gladys Knights, Patti LaBelles and Aretha Franklins."
The Roun'Table/Cash Money Records artist adds there are some singers who "still saaang" and Fantasia, Faith Evans, Monica and Mary J. Blige are among those she credits. "My dream tour would be to go out on the road with Fantasia and Faith. I rock with both of them hard," she said.
We asked Mo about her rumored beef with newcomer Keyshia Cole that apparently began after Mo made similar comments about new singers on the syndicated Star & Buc Wild Morning Show. "I was in New York at Dream Hotel preparing to do a show. She saw my manager Phil Thornton (of Bright Star Entertainment) and my stylist in the lobby and asked them what they were doing there. When they said they were there to see me, she said, 'You all are traitors. She is the enemy.' Then she stormed off. I heard she was drunk, so I brushed it off and blamed it on the alcohol," recalled Mo.
Mo will drop her junior album 'Syndicated (The Lil' Mo Hour)' in late Sept. and then headline the Seagram's Gin Live national tour later this fall. "If you're tired of being hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray and run amuck, then come see my live show. There's no lip-synching on this tour. It's all live, baby!"

I liked the song, but, she needs someone like babyface to help her sing more effortless, because it was an effort listening to the last two CDS that sinked to the bottom like a mafia snitch in the Hundson.
