The fifth single from album two goes out a week from today. Their first attempt at a slow tempo song for radio. Hopefully somebody will play it.

I also have the physical for Cosmic Egg, which was sent out before White Feather. I don't see radio playing anything from this album if New Moon Rising couldn't score.

"Cosmic Egg" has actually been the one receiving airplay recently.

Sorry, not going to argue actual facts. Five is five, all accounted for. Lockebox, I thought that was weird, too. White Feather was sent to radio just four weeks after Cosmic Egg. As soon as that happened, Cosmic Egg started to get the bulk of the airplay between the two. I think I heard White Feather one time during its run. Now that Far Away is shipping out, I expect White Feather to start getting numbers.

Is a bit of a shambles really. They should have just released "Back Round" as the second single. Period. It's the most radio ready I've heard them.

It wasn't sent to radio though. "New Moon Rising" was first, followed by "White Feather".

I'd be pleasantly surprised if this did anything.

The album is ok. I fear the 'one hit wonder' tag is going to be with them for awhile though.

The album is ok. I fear the 'one hit wonder' tag is going to be with them for awhile though. And "Woman" didn't even chart the Billboard Hot 100. Interestingly enough, they're relative one-hit wonders in their native Australia as well, although their big hit there is "Joker And The Thief". Namaste, Lisping Hibiscus

Joker and the Thief got beat to death in Canada as well. Although I'm sure Woman was played a lot to, I heard JatT all the time. It became one of those songs that I couldn't stand on first hearing and then after it being beaten into my head a bunch of times I finally liked it well enough.
Still not a fan of the band overall though.

Well they're certainly bigger than one single. Woman, except the live version, has been my least favorite so far of the ten or so singles.
