This song is alright.....they don't play it on BET enough and I don't hear it on the radio so I can't really say.

BOBBY VALENTINO Tell Me Producer(s): Tim & Bob Writer(s): B. Wilson, T. Kelley, B. Robinson Genre: R & B Label/Catalog Number: DTP/Island Def Jam (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: June 11, 2005
On the heels of debut single "Slow Down," which sped its way to the top of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, comes Bobby Valentino's follow-up, "Tell Me." Here we find the Southern crooner in pretty much the same predicament he was in last time around: A nameless, attractive female with a shapely derriere catches his eye; he proceeds to serenade her. Also, just as before, he is backed by a dreamy string arrangement and deliberate drum track courtesy of "Slow Down" production duo Tim & Bob. While the two singles sound strikingly similar, it'll be hard for listeners to resist Valentino's gentle pleas. —Ivory M. Jones

This scored fantastic call out. It will be interesting to see if this song can become a hit on it's call out numbers considering the album isn't selling much anymore. I have the idea call out won't help at this point, but I kind of hope it does. As much as this sounds like "Slow Down," I'm really loving the ethnic sound.

I think this song could do really well at Pop. Does anyone agree?

The reason this song isn't flying up the charts isn't very suprising. "Slow Down" didn't fly up the charts, it just stated pretty consistant. This should be a top 10 R&B/Urban hit. I doubt it'll hit the top 30 in Pop.

The reason this song isn't flying up the charts isn't very suprising... ...because his album flopped, and he's not a big downloads artist.

He went #1 on Urban, and did quite well on Rhythmic as well with Slow Down. His album deserves better. He also has been kickin it with Luda on "Pimpin'..." right now too. I think that was cross-promotion, but I still don't even think many ppl know that's the same Bobby V as on Tell Me and Slow Down. Many think its just some dude singing unless they seen all the videos.
