This is...interesting, to say the least. I love Journey, and I like "Enter Sandman" but I'm not sure what I think of this. Though "Heaven and Heaven" (Bryan Adams and Warrant) is kinda neat.

What in the hell do you mean by too soon....this is a reimagining/mashup of two songs that are nearly 30 and 20 years old. I'll tell you what, at the very least its fun. Rock has been missing that for awhile. Everyone's too damn serious.

Except the premise in the video is incorrect. They were on a desert island in 1989... OK. And they use the instrumental for "Enter Sandman", which is from 1991? ???

I meant too soon with the Journey part. It's been inundated in our culture since The Sopranos went of the air. In Rock Band, Family Guy, and My Name Is Earl that I know of since then. Plus it recharted last year, and it's the only digital track to sell 2 million copies I believe. Too damn soon to hear another version of this song, obviously!

Yeah...because there is nothing good about striking while the iron is hot... They should wait until everyone is completely sick of the song to get it out there. Sometimes Artie, your lack of logic is dumbfounding.

I was about to come in and post "Haha, Metallica meets Journey"
But the irony is that...it IS.

I'm not sure it's irony when they used the exact titles. I'm curious if this band does anything original or just combines covers to make a new one.

And seriously, who would've thought that someone would do something like this and send it to radio? Should I assume every song with similar titles is the same?

I don't know. This is all I've heard so far. Although the Bryan Adams / Warrant song mention in reply #1 could be soothing.
