I know this song has gotten Jason Nevins remixes. And I just found this:
Definately has potential if mixed right...

That DJ Dark Intensity mix is just okay for me. The filtered acappella job is a letdown for me; I know that there's nothing better that could be done without the official studio vocals being out there, but hearing the original instrumentation bleed through in parts sort of kills it.

I also did a bootleg mix of this using Chicane's "Stoned In Love."

Is the Dark Intensity remix official? I noticed that it was also featured on a blog for Promo Only as a dj pick.

It's not official, but it wouldn't surprise me if DJs are giving it attention.

Is that the 3rd mix? Or is it just the one that was on Jason's MySpace?

Is that the 3rd mix? Or is it just the one that was on Jason's MySpace? No, it's not. The one on his myspace has less synths. There's the Rhythm Mix, which is the mainstream one. The Elektrotek, and the one on his myspace.

Joe Bermudez posted on his FB page that he submitted his remix to the label. I don't know if he was kidding or being serious. Guess we will find out.

The Nevins mixes are not bad at all! The Hands Up one is a little much, with the pitch being tinkered with, though. But I actually enjoy the Electrotek one. The DJ Dark Intensity Radio mix has grown on me tremendously. I've never really liked extended mixes, the ones with the insanely long intros and outros. The club mix, after the long intro isn't bad, but it's mainly just the radio edit with a beat. The Dub mix isn't really different. A little more sitar (?) sounds in it. The trance mix is ok, I guess. Not my cup of tea... especially considering Hillary sounds like a squirrel. The DJ D mix isn't too different from the others. Here are download links to two of the Nevins remixes: www.dirrtyremixes.com/post/remixes-lady-antebellum-need-you-now/

But I actually enjoy the Electrotek one. Agreed. The Electrotek Mix was the most-played song a couple weeks ago on iPartyRadio. Seems to "borrow" from the Klaas Vocal Mix of Guru Josh Project's Infinity 2008... which certainly isn't a bad thing.

a little late, but finally the mixes has been released:
1. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Dark Intensity Club Remix) (6:52) 2. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Dark Intensity Dub - Remix) (6:51) 3. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Dark Intensity Radio Remix) (3:58) 4. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Hott 22 Big Room Mix) (6:15) 5. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Hott 22 Deep Dub Mix) (6:10) 6. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Jason Nevins Elektrotek Extended Mix) (6:36) 7. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Jason Nevins Elektrotek Radio) (3:25) 8. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Jason Nevins Hands Up Extended Mix) (6:31) 9. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Jason Nevins Hands Up Radio) (3:37) 10. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Jason Nevins Rhythmic Radio) (3:28) 11. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (LP Version) (4:37) 12. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Static Revenger Club Mix) (6:23) 13. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Static Revenger Dub Mix) (6:20) 14. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Static Revenger Mixshow Final) (4:11) 15. Lady Antebellum - Need You Now (Static Revenger Radio Edit) (3:30)
Solid remix package, I like all the mixes! and it's good to see the Dark Intensity remix being released as official! :)
p.s. the Nevins Hands Up mix doesn't have the pitch changed, that was probably done by the person who ripped that and leaked the mp3.

Is it just me or was a more DJ friendlier intro added to the Dark Intensity Mix? I'm really feeling the Nevins Hands Up Extended Mix, Static isn't bad either.

I was NOT expecting to like this remixed... but the Hott 22 is amazing. Very powerful and uplifting.

Does anyone know if there's a full-length Jason Nevins mix that does NOT drop the beats out for the chorus? I know he did like 3 styles of mixes, and I just previewed the couple versions on masterbeat.com, but sadly both of them drop the beats out when it gets to the chorus, which I freaking HATE. I like how his Ryhthm Radio Mix keeps the beats at this point, but was there ever a full-length Rythym Club Mix?
