Patti and Mary take it to church for sure. Agreed! I like it based on the clip.

Did this really go for adds? If it did, it didn't make the Top 5 most added.

I thought this song went for adds this past week on June 5th because on www.RROnline.com or Radio and Records.com, they had it GOING FOR ADDS with the other releases, but it does make sense that it wasn't released then because I have not seen the song receiving any radio plays this week. Where did you hear that June 20th was the day? Why would they release a single a day before the CD is released? That does not make much sense.

Well he works for Island, so if he says that's what it is, then he would know.

I didn't know he works at Def Jam and I wasn't disputing that it was released then. I was just questioning conflicting information, but I am sure that he would know if he works there. Well, since you work on Def Jam, do you know about any promotion in particular that will be surrounding the CD besides the GOOD MORNING AMERICA promotion. I think Patti should be appearing on some shows like JAY LENO, 106 & PARK, DAVE LETTERMAN, OPRAH, REGIS AND KELLY....OPRAH.
Also, why is the single being released so late?

Is this being played on anyone's local Urban AC stations because I have not heard it here in Chicago yet? Also, I am disgusted that this single was released to radio so late.

Patti still got what it takes to make a man wanna get up and SCREAM!!!!!!!!!! I hope that "Your Song" with Elton John is the next single. That 37 second clips was such a tease! Could it be that Patti is STILL the baddest vocalist in the game!

Yes, Patti is still the baddest and she didn't have no emancipations or breakdowns to keep it. I can't wait to hear this song.....this will be a HIT!! This is a dream duet.

That's cool to hear...#34 and the song has not even really been out for an entire week so that is good. Is that for Urban AC Charts?

the production sounds too fast or something. it sounds kind of cheesy and not full enough. The vocals make this song though. I hope Patti and Mary take home a Grammy together.

This week Patti sees a pretty strong debut for CLASSIC MOMENTS at #22 with almost 37k copies sold. Remember, TIMELESS JOURNEY opened last year at #18 with 56k sold in the first week. Taken the lackluster promotion, 37k in the first week is phenomnal, and is still much better than WHEN A WOMAN LOVES which opened with around 26k sold in the first week. See, if Def Soul would have promoted the project right, it could have easily opened in the top 15 with closer to 45k-50k sold, but remember it's Def Jam. Here's to hoping that the CD has legs because the long-term is really what matters most.
