I enjoyed Adrenaline and Lie to Me. We'll see how this sounds.

I liked their last album quite a bit, so I'm interested to hear this.

I'm not so sure that this'll reach the top 20.
The majority of their fans are royally pissed about this being an EP. Doesn't look like we'll see another full length for at least a year. It's already been three years since "Anthem of the Underdog". Looks like a lack of support over at Wind Up.

So, no top 20 for this either. Funny how this slowed down when it was announced that it was an EP lead single.

As much as I like this song, I knew that it wasn't going to give them their first top 20. I'm actually ok with this stalling where it did. I don't want them to end up like Skillet, whose biggest hit is also their weakest.

Unsuprising. That EP release was just bewildering.

Unsuprising. That EP release was just bewildering. I wouldn't call it bewildering. I've posted essays on Tunelab Music about this, but my explanation is that Wind-Up is probably in a lot of trouble right now. They have Creed, Seether, Finger Eleven, and Evanescence, but none of those bands are platinum sellers anymore and Wind-Up is more indie now than they ever have been in the past, promoting digital releases far in advance of retail releases to try to cut costs and push awareness. They probably don't have the necessary funds to really push a new album release from a band that has consistently not made them a profit in the past. Hell, they're even holding up the new Evanescence album, and that should be guaranteed money for them, but not necessarily and that's why Wind-Up is trying to play it safe. Why else would Wind-Up be signing bands like Bayside and Five For Fighting lately that have pre-installed fanbases? As for 12 Stones, I have no doubt they'll find another label, especially if they decide to stay indie and/or play up the Christian card. Maybe then Tooth & Nail or INO can pick them up.

They'll probably go cock-rock and sign with Eleven Seven.

Haha. Well, maybe they'll score a top 20 then. I wonder if Roadrunner are interested after seeing Hail the Villain's recent success.

So in related news, Endless Hallway just left Wind-Up too. Sounds like trouble is a brewin'.
