Listening back, it's not bad. It's probably my favorite single by them in quite some time. It's still missing some of the incredible energy and lyrics that some of their early hits had though.

Listening back, it's not bad. It's probably my favorite single by them in quite some time. I knew you'd change your mind on this one.  It sounds like a classic EWF ballad to me. I really like it! |

They're doing quite well for themselves. They have their highest charting album in twenty-two years. "Pure Gold" is their biggest hit since "Spend The Night" eleven years ago.
