Not quite as good as "Bullseye" was, but I like it miles better than "Hypnotic" and "Classic Love Song". This one actually sounds like it could be a decent sized Urban AC hit.

I always thought this should be released as a single. She snapped at the end!!!!! Go head girl. This is classic Syleena.

how many song is she gonna try That's her record labels fault. It sounds like Syleena Johnson has a solid album on the way, but Jive doesn't know what to do with her. Plus, outside of R. Kelly...Jive is a pop label, and Syleena is no where near pop. Hell, R. Kelly's material is sounding like pop R&B.

Here's my idea: move the girl to LaFace. At least something good will come out of this yet! Once she releases something from the LaFace label, she'll have some hits.

But you did prove a point on Syleena not being a pop import.

Jive just hasn't promoted her properly. If this next album doesn't make waves then she must feel it's time to move on too.

Well considering that they are both under the same parent company that would work. But truley I don't think this girl will ever get a hit

People are waiting for a mainstream hit or something. "Guess What" went to #1 at Urban AC and I honestly would be fine with just that. The dumbest thing she ever did was try to appeal to the mainstream. We got shit like "Hypnotic".

I like "Hypnotic" i had no idea "Guess What" went number One on urban Ac. IF thats the case then that should be her core audience.

Her dad was a famous blues singer so it's in her blood to sing those types of songs. As for this single, it's okay, but not enough IMO.

No doubt, the blues is in her blood...and she shouldn't try to give that up. I'm just saying she can't be singing like KoKo Taylor.

EXACTLY ... plus those blues woman sing about sex, being cheated on, and cheating with another man all the time. They're a trip. But if you listen to Syleena's Chapter 1: Love, Pain, and Forgiveness you can hear the blues...especially in Ain't No Love.

Former soulife labelmate Anthony Hamilton? They're on the same label? She finally got her duet with R. Kelly.

^A duet would be interesting, but maybe it just features him like in Hypnotic. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the album.

The dumbest thing she ever did was try to appeal to the mainstream. We got s**t like "Hypnotic". I agree. It seems like a lot of the stuff she recorded for this album is like that. The only song so far that I LOVE is "Bullseye." The song with Twista is trash, "Hypnotic" is trash, and CLS is boring. I liked "Slowly" or whatever that sex song is called. I listened to this song for the first time today and while I'm not wowed by it, it's definitely the best thing she's released since "Bullseye." She really picks it up at the end.
