To be brutally honest...Sharissa just needs that one song to break her because i know for a fact she has what it takes to make it. This song isn't that song, but nonetheless it will keep her relevant enough in the R&B scene. It's not a bad track at all and she is NOT a Mary J. Blidge rip off.

Kelly here?’ Numerous residents stood nearthe intersection’s southwest corner,trying to catch a glimpse of the girlsand cars purported to be modelingnearby. Virgin Records honcho Jermaine Dupri dispatched his new star Sharissa to play Rikers Island yesterday. Correction officials told the soul siren, who was surrounded by four guards, not to wear anything too booty-licious. She was also advised not to get too intimate with the 350 inmates who filled a gymnasium.
Though she asked if jailed hip-hop stars Shyne and Cuban Linx could attend, officials declined to spring them from Rikers' VIP section.
The inmates' favorite song?
Judging from their howls, it had be "In Love With a Thug."

The video is nice. Robert got permission to be at the video shoot! Hope this is another Sharissa BET smash.
Her new album, "Every Beat of My Heart," will be out September 27th and features collabos with The Game, Mario Winans, and Wyclef. "In Love With A Thug" was produced by Tank.
