Am I the only one who think Not myself tonight is having a rather weak increase on mediabase? Ain't No Other Man was at 16.5 million after its first six days of airplay in its first week

Ain't No Other Man was at 16.5 million after its first six days of airplay in its first week I'm not sure but the real success will come in the digital sales. For this song to have a high charting position they need to do well digitally. The song doesn't seem like it will go #1. A top 10 or top 5 seems to be it's ending fate IMO at least. |

Nothin on You is the next #1, and deservedly so. Such a refreshing R&B/Hip Hop.... very different from what usually sounds on the radio IMO. Do you think it will happen in the next few weeks. I guess it will all depending on Rude boy's decline in digital sales  |

^ Em, no. The CHR panel today is 143 stations. In 2008, at least a while, there were 128. Thus, the CHR panel today is bigger than it was then, and the question is how many were in the panel in 2006.. I wasn't monitoring back then.

Well, the panel might be larger for certain genres, but audience impressions across the board are down significantly. That's why it was much easier to rack up 200 million impressions 5 years ago when today, a multi-format hit like Rude Boy will struggle to top 160 AI.

Rude Boy has the biggest peak in over a year, Dead And Gone peaked at 140 back in early April of last year, but that's as far back as I can find numbers.
