Going out next week from Billboard. It's a leftover from the Exile album, so hopefully it will sound like the classic version of the band.
EDIT : MODIFIED TITLE

Should be available Friday, and there's also a 7" being released for Record Store Day. The deluxe Exile on Main Street is out 18 May. Without having heard this, as with most of their singles in the current millennium, I expect Rock and AAA will pay this minimal attention, and then it'll fall away.

This has an adds date to AAA but nothing to alt or active rock as of now. May 3rd.

I agree. I do not see radio sticking with this for long. Unless it happens to have that same Exile vibe that Tumbling Dice had, which is by far my favorite single from the band.

There's actually an add for this on the airplay page on FMQB ;)

Well, it definitely has an Exile vibe, but I don't see that helping it on radio. It sounds like it could've been a hit in the early '70s. Good tune, though. EDIT: Just noticed the thread title is a bit off. Should read "Plundered My Soul"

Good call! I checked the link and Billboard had it right. Just too fast of a typist for my own good this time.

The video is out. About what you'd expect, given the song's age, but I'm not sure who they're expecting to play it anyway.

This should be top 10 on Mainstream airplay by next week. Much stronger numbers than I would've guessed. Good song too in my opinion.

I think it's a good song but (with a bit of luck) it will debut on Billboard's Mainstream Rock, barely. He's talking about the radio format, alternately called Mainstream Rock, Heritage Rock, or just plain ol' Rock (is how I usually refer to it). But yeah, this is doing about as I thought. Decent receptions from Rock and AAA. If it sticks around much past the release of the deluxe Exile, I'll be impressed, but with a track like this, that it's scaled even the small Mainstream Rock format as quickly as it has is a feat.
