These aren't quite as hard as I was expecting, however, they're better than I thought they would be. I prefer the edit. It has a slightly different intro. I like it when the edits are slightly different from from the club mixes. Hex used to do that regularly back in the day. Remember his mixes of "I'm Leavin'" by Lisa Stansfield? There was a Hex edit which was a bit lighter and then the longer versions were much harder and anthemic. There was an edit of the harder one on that Ultimate Dance Party CD. There are many other examples of this. |

Finally a Toni remix that i can possibly request and have it get played at the bar.
I have been requesting the remixes of "Yesterday" and "Make My Heart" at Chicago and Detroit bars, only to have the dj's laugh at me.

You're spending your hard-earned money to go to a club, and essentially paying that DJ's salary, how dare he disrespect your song request like that? Tell ya what - come to Diversions in Grand Rapids this Saturday night where my best friend DJ Digimark will be spinning remix videos for the Madonna album/DVD release party. I'll make sure he gets in some Toni Braxton requests too :) oh! and he will also debut Ralphi Rosario's mix of the new Mariah Carey single (sorry, off-topic) |

The Detroit bars usually suck when it comes to music selection. The dj's rarely have the latest remixes, or they just don't play them when you ask, maybe because they think people won't recognize them. Who knows. I'm excited about this remix though. I love old school Hex. This is a nice return to form for him. I prefer the edit. It has a slightly different intro. I like it when the edits are slightly different from from the club mixes. Hex used to do that regularly back in the day. Actually, the beginning of the radio edit is simply the club mix spliced starting at the 2:27 mark. I do remember how Hex used to be more creative with his radio edits though. |

I loved the Edit version of the song. With the various remixes made for her first two singles, I'm a little surprised this didn't get a few more. It's a shame none of the three did anything on the dance chart.
