2nd Single from her debut album, "Music Of The Sun". It's got a nice friendly happy vibe to it. Nice mid-tempo song. The video was shot, and is due out shortly. I love this song, and it should fair well on pop. Sad to say, I think this is Jigga's #1 female artist right now... Sorry Teairra Boo :'(...

2nd Single from her debut album, "Music Of The Sun". Sad to say, I think this is Jigga's #1 female artist right now... Sorry Teairra Boo :'(... i'm with you on that. Rihanna has way more talent than Teirra Mari.

well, il be honest, rihanna is a better vocalist than teairra, but teairra isnt bad, shes just not as good
BUT, big but, i think teairra makes hotter music, her album is wayyy better than Rihannas, and Teairra also beats Rihanna in the body department, and face department lol

^ really i only liked a few osngs on teairra's album she just sings over hip hop beats and her voice sound very childish, and i think rihanna is wayy prettier than teaiira mari, but i guess to each his own.

I only like the beats on Teairra's album. Her lyrics are horrible and her vocals are just ok.

Her album barely debuted in the Top 10 and didnt even mange to sell 70,000 copies in its first week ........
Teairra Mari actually debuted MUCH better...didn't she debut at #3 with over 100k sold in first week?
and thats WITHOUT a smash hit single that was possibly the song of the summer (which Rihanna did)....not looking good for Rihanna (or Jay-Z as an executive)

no teairra sold like 70,000 and debuted at #5. and when Teairra debuted it was a slower week, no 900k Kanye type, but still...at least she can say she debuted in the Top 5 lol... Rihanna can't even say that, and she had one of the biggest hits of the summer if not the year 2005 so far

it's funny how things like that work out... a new artist like teairra mari who only had a mediocre semi-hit opens in the top 5 with decent sales, while a new artist like rihanna with a smash hit opens up poorly.

They are still jammin "Pon De Replay" in the bars/clubs and I'm sure it will be a staple all year during reggae/reggaeton sets, even next summer and beyond. It's not a "classic" by any means, but another member of the staple reggaeton/reggae jam for the set. (Think "Oye Mi Canto", "Move Ya Body", Lumidee "Never Leave You", Pitbull "Culo", etc.)
This new song won't do nearly as well

I would just like to take the time to say that I said she was a wack one hit wonder from jump. I dont even know why PDR was so popular. It's complete cra---nvm.

Well Jay-Z believes in her that's why she is signed to a contract to Def Jam that allows her to release 6 albums. She will not be your ordinary one hit wonder because not only is she talented she is a good live performer. There is so much more that she has to offer and "If It's Loving" is hot if not hotter than Pon de Replay. Is there room for Rhianna to grow yes, and she will in time.

Why would she get Six albums? there is no way we'll ever hear six albums from her.

She's soooooooo fine. That's what I really hate about her. If she were ugly it'd be so much more easier to hate her.
And yeah I doubt she'll even get 3 albums.
