it's not much different from the Haiti performance The production on the album version brings it to a more happier side of somebody wanting that one need back. Its more along the lines of a Pop SMASH than a Hot AC / Triple A SMASH. The ending vocals are rearranged to perfection and the background vocals underneath subtly are heavenly. What a beautiful live performance that was!! :'( :'( I can't wait to hear the studio version!

$9.98 at Target and $14.98 for the Deluxe. Literally $5 extra for 5 extra songs. 15 dollars for 20 17 tracks. it's not really that bad.

Here is the Guardian UK review: Christina Aguilera: Bionic(RCA) Kitty Empire The Observer, Sunday 6 June 2010 larger | smaller Article history Christina Aguilera's Bionic is playing catch-up to Lady Gaga. The arms race fought out among pop's leading women has recently gone nuclear, thanks to the Gaga Effect. Last year, Lady Gaga threw lobster headdresses into the fray, as well as some increasingly baroque pop. She thoroughly surrealised sexiness, sold a bazillion records and now everyone, including multiple Grammy-winning, pluri-platinum pop diva Christina Aguilera, is playing catch-up. But that might just be taking things a bit far. A bit like Jaime Sommers, the original bionic woman, Bionic is very strong, but only in parts. Hopefully she doesn't keep getting reviews where they constantly compare her to Brit and Gaga. Doesn't help the swagger jacking views that people have of her now that Gaga is huge.

I think it's going to be inevitable with this album even though I think it's decidedly different from something either Gaga or Spears would do. I just don't see either of them getting as raunchy as Christina is hear at times and, of course, neither of them could pull off one of Aguilera's ballads. What a great review from All Music Guide! I'm surprised AMG gave the album a strong review. They creamed themselves over B2B but lambasted Stripped. Bionic is much closer to the latter and the high points on Stripped were stronger, IMO.

I hope Christina's performance lives up to the hype and is not another AMA's '08 disaster.
Her choreographer Jeri Slaughter also tweeted last night:
I LOVE MY CREW!! We bout to slaughter it tomorrow! Believe dat!!
Hmm....

There are rumors that she will be the opening act tonight on the MMA and that she will sing NMT/Wohoo/Primadonna.

I just realized that Dierks Bentley's new album comes out June 8th, too. Christina has a LOT of competition - Dierks, Glee, Twilight, Travie McCoy, Lil' Jon...I thought she had #1 in the bag, but I'm not so sure now. It's definitely going to be close. im going to guess she comes in at #3

Yeah and I think Glee will conquer seeing that its stars are bigger than Christina Aguilera no 13 year old girl know who Xtina is but they all know Rachel Berry from Glee and ............. those vampires. i disagree Christina appeals to teens as well, to say that they don't know who she is would be plain ridiculous. She appeals to many people.

^ I cannot wait for this hot mess of a peformance. One thing in certain. There will be a 100 people in here afterwards and some will say its the best performance ever, while the other talk about how bad it was - regardless of what she does.

If you lined up 100 12-15 year old girls and ask them who Christina Aguileera is and who Glee is im damn sure verybody is gonna know the GlEE stars because its a bigger name in America rite now. Christina is losing her relevance because shes always taking 4 years to reinvent yourself. She doesnt realise that 4 years are a generation. A new crop of teens are out. 4 years is the amount of years in high school. ICYDK ppl will eventually move on.

Yep-doesn't matter how she looks, how well she sings, how she performs and some people will be shrieking about how it is the worst performance ever and others the best (though, obviously the hysterics over how bad it is will overwhelm the positive comments because it is cool to hate Christina on Pulse). Her performances have been hit and miss for me lately so I am not sure what to expect. I have liked some performances vocally, but god I hope they really think about her performance look. It was AWFUL on Oprah.

I'm surprised AMG gave the album a strong review. They creamed themselves over B2B but lambasted Stripped. Bionic is much closer to the latter and the high points on Stripped were stronger, IMO. I'm surprised too. There is so much hate on this board for her that you would think the general public and reviewers would feel the same way, but apparently, they don't. Either they are just OK with this album or they really like it and get what she is doing, so I'm happy, at the end of the day. Stripped didn't deserve such a low rating but as the years have passed, VERY little of the album holds up. The only songs I feel myself playing are Beautiful, Walk Away and Dirrty and even those I don't play too often, honestly. This will probably be the album that gets the most replay from me. I like sonic journeys and I like strong production (I don't care if people say it sounds outdated; but it needs to be full of details and almost baroque). On top of it, I love Christina's voice and I like that she is doing different things with it here. I can't believe there are only 2 days before I get to hear this album!!

I used to teach middle school, and the last time Christina had a big pop hit, those kids were barely potty trained. They sure as hell know who Lady Gaga is though.

I really, really hope Elastic Love is released. The promo for this album really has been so lackluster. They should have really gone for it with Woohoo (or something else...) once NMT underperformed. Fools.
