She's not getting number 1. Nope. Not happening. Jewel has a better chance at this rate.

Yes. The fact that she's not even in the Top 300, 24 hours before her album goes on sale, is worrisome. Not necessarily. People may purchase the physical CD instead of the digital version. Stevie Boi working on WooHoo music video @sbshades Making @nickiminaj & Cristina a crazy corset for there new music video Didn't this song already flop. What's the point in a video? It was only released to Rhythmic. It needs a little time to take off. A song that smashes and jumps up in the airplay and on stations quickly could slow down after a short time and then be declared a flop while a song could take longer to climb and then could smash.

longetivity on the chart >>>>> having a #1 hopefully she can achieve one of these Exactly. There are a few people out there who interpret and view a song as flopping if it doesn't hit number one. Reaching number one isn't the be all and end all for a song or an album. It's great, but it's not the only thing.

I can't wait to see the video for 'Woohoo'. I wonder what the concept will be beyond the 'obvious'?

Actually having a massive #1 debut is the most important thing these days because after the first week people generally don't sell that well and it's only down hill from there minus a few lucky people. The quicker you can sell the better. In Christina's case though you comment about longevity applies since no one is expecting her to sell more than 150k (and that's being generous). I'd rather sell a quick 2.5 million than a slow 2.5 million or even a slow 3 or 3.5 million.

If this was true pretty much every cd that came out recently wouldn't be a hit at all. Like, everyone would be a massive flop. The most important thing to a cd being a hit is longevity-particularly having a decent opening and then building hit after hit. That does the most for a career because it is a solid era as a whole and not just one week of great sales before collapsing with only one fluke hit or something. The problem with Christina is I don't think she will have EITHER. Longevity or a good opening.

All I Ever Wanted hit #1 (for 2weeks I believe) but fell of the charts rather quickly and ended up not even selling platinum. Breakaway however, never hit #1 and ended up doing 6 million after 2 years in the top 200

I really enjoyed the entrance/Bionic aspect of her performance even though it was mainly lipped. I really dig that song. :)
NMT has never done anything for me but it was much better than her Oprah performance, Woohoo is catchy but is only an okay track to me yet I would have preferred it if she had just stuck with Bionic/Woohoo.
The styling this time around was also better. Her hair was a bit severe but it was much better than those too tight granny curls and she looked fierce as hell sitting on her throne.

She is getting critical praise for her awesome performance. 150k lol she'll sell more than that. And as i keep saying i can see many songs from this album being a hit. Alot of artists released songs that did'nt scream hits at first but then went on to become huge. She did her thang.

Look twilight and Glee are very popular right now, and they'll have good sells. I hope she comes in at number 1. She truly deserves it. I hope her album does well. Nothing is over, this album has just been released, and calling a song a flop after just a week or two is ridiculous. Thats just pure hating. It did'nt technically really even go to Pop radio. I guess they are testing the fields. And of course she'll go gold and more.

Was she lipping? I thought she was singing along to a backing track throughout the whole performance. She WAS singing along to a backing track. It's OK if people can't afford nice TVs with good sound and HD to tell the difference though. I can't really help that. :'( She looked like she was having a good time. It's the MTV Awards not the Grammys, LOL. It seems people can't differentiate between the two, which is somewhat surprising. I thought she did a good job.

NMT #151 (+13) Woohoo # 201 (+57) thank you for this. he/she isn't gonna report any positive news @ positive news. I'm pressed 137. Not Myself Tonight - Christina Aguilera 173. Woohoo (feat. Nicki Minaj) - Christina Aguilera those numbers are still really bad. She is not even in the top 100
