Out a week from Monday says Sirius. Only heard the last third. I hope they can make good music someday.

I hope they can make good music someday. Not to put too fine a point on it, but you're a dick.

My question is, if you've never liked anything they've done, then why do you care if they ever do something that you will like? I swear to god you are writing all this in an institution locked up in a padded cell and you get two things.....an hour a day on the computer and a subscription to Billboard. Thank you Mr. Manson. to quote Jack Black in Shallow Hal "cuckoo, cuckoo"

Great band. Looking forward to hearing it. Though other than Kill The Day I didn't like much off of "Anthem for the Underdog" (I'm guessing by memory, but that's the album name right?)

Kill The Day was one of the tracks I liked the least. Eh. I dunno. I listened a few times through it. It's the only one that I found myself whistling afterwards.

I hope they can make good music someday. I wasn't incredibly fond of anything from "Anthem For The Damned" but listen to "Welcome To The Fold," "Trip Like I Do," and "The Best Things" and let me know if you still think they suck

This is streaming now on their MySpace at www.myspace.com/filterI have to say it rocks pretty hard, but the lyrics absolutely suck. I just listened to this prior to typing this and all I remember is "Drinkin' Drinkin' Smoke Smoke YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!" Needless to say, I am disappointed slightly.

I think it's Drink and Drink and snort and smoke or something like that...not that that disproves your point at all.
That said, I think it is the most interesting sounding Filter single since "Where Do We Go From Here".

Was there seriously auto-tune in that song?

Was there seriously auto-tune in that song? I noticed it clearly at the beginning.

I'm not really a fan of his voice nowadays, and the last thing we need on rock radio is auto-tune.

This song makes my ears bleed. Which sucks just because I've been listening to the song they had on the 2012 soundtrack and actually really like that one.

I don't think they sold out. First of all, this track sounds much more like classic industrial Filter than anything off Anthems For The Damned. Secondly, while auto-tune is overused in pop these days, the way they use it feels much darker and like an industrial metal usage of the effect. The lyrics are a bit questionable, but this is definitely the heaviest single from Filter in a LONG time.

I actually thought of "What's Next?" right after I posted that last night but figured most people didn't know it was a single. But yeah, you might as well classify that into the category as well.
