That is one thing I really appreciate about her. Even some of the best pop cds out there have a few tracks that feel like mindless generic filler to me. There are no tracks on Gaga's cd (except maybe the Queen lol) that feel that way to me. Even if I don't like it they all have something that sets them apart and makes me think a lot of care went into the song. I cannot imagine cutting any from the main cd either. The flow would feel off. ^quoted for truth. There was very little filler on Bionic also. The changes in the music industry require artists to make good albums now, with several singles supporting it, as they did in the 1980's and 1990's. This is a good thing for us.

I can't believe how little love I've seen for tracks such as Fashion of his Love and Black Jesus + Amen Fashion. They truly stand out, imo.
This is an AMAZING album. It reminds me so much of Madonna at parts, but what I've found more intriguing is how much it reminds of Depeche Mode during the late 80's. Still, Gaga brings her own thing to her music and that's what makes this album so fabulous. She really stepped up the game for herself and everyone else.

I don't really think Bionic had much filler either. Rather, its problem was almost the exact opposite-trying to jam every sound and every collaboration on there so it felt like 3 different cds in one and not every one of those collabos/producers worked for her. That still feels different than filler to me. But, I think I define filler differently. I have a specific definition where most people seem to think filler=song I don't like.
I have actually fallen in love with Black Jesus/Amen Fashion. It is weird because when the tracklisting leaked everyone was so upset at that title and saying "omg what happened to light fun Fame Gaga that is too heavy a subject for a pop song!!!!" and then I really feel like BJ/AF is the song that could have been on the Fame the most with its subject matter and feel ha ha. Just a really fun song with a great beat and chorus.

Bionic? Really? Really. By filler, I mean pretty much what LPL is getting at: songs that were thrown together lazily with no thought, effort, or inspiration. The worst songs on Bionic were Not Myself Tonight and Woohoo. Everything else was very thoughtfully presented. Have you listened to the Deluxe album in full?

FoHL is fantastic.
The Judas instrumental is amazing. I'll never get over it not being massive.
Bionic doesn't have filler so much as it's about 4 or 5 albums crammed together onto one disc; and some of them are pretty weak albums.

I still wish she would have released "I Am" off Bionic.
Back to Gaga...... yes, this album is solid from start to finish. FoHL should have been on the standard edition.

I can guarantee you the label is absolutely ecstatic that she is passing 1.5 million sold and 3 million sold worldwide in about a month. Absolutely ecstatic. Any label would be. Eh..I'm sure Gaga is ecstatic and she should be but the label, most likely not so much. They're probably feeling a bit shit after overshipping the album and having retailers return the unsold copies because they weren't aware of Amazon doing the 2-day deal.

I can't stop crying. We did it kids. The revolution is ours to fight for love, justice+equality. Rejoice NY, and propose. We did it!!! Celebrating in Tokyo with The Haus. A Lemon Sawa for equality, overcoming + the hope of the future. Lady GaGa The Edge Of Glory / Born This Way @ Tokyo Japan 6/25/11 ^ Definitely one of my favorite performances that she has ever done.

Will it be 2xp for the initial shipment or 1xp because of returns??

‘Born This Way’ Returns to Top of UK Albums ChartLady Gaga’s Born This Way has returned to number one on the UK albums chart a month after it first took the top spot. The CD moves up two spots in it fifth week on the chart, holding off Bon Iver’s new release and Adele’s still-selling 21. This week, Lady Gaga sold 47,000 copies of Born This Way, bringing its total to more than 400,000 to date. The CD has already reached platinum status in the UK, as well as more than twenty other countries around the world. Earlier this month, Lady Gaga announced that her album had shipped five million copies worldwide. Gaga’s debut album The Fame (re-released as The Fame Monster) moves up seven spots to No. 13. The multi-platinum record has spent an impressive 128 weeks on the chart to date. GGD

What caused it to move up? I thought TEOG and Judas were bombing over there.

What caused it to move up? I thought TEOG and Judas were bombing over there. TEOG was falling because it didn´t have a video. But since the video, it´s been getting a lot of airplay/video airplay and renewed interest. Not to mention one of her performances was aired 3 times in the last week. So that helped her sales of the album and TEOG.

FOHL is fucking great, I don't know how I missed that jam! I could see it being a single, if it didn't sound more like Express Yourself than BTW.
Scheisse next plz.

Wow, I didn't expect her to return to the top in the UK, especially with Adele still doing well there.

I didn't expect it to return to #1 especially since it is labelled a huge flop collapsing down the charts at an embarrassing rate and the entire label is probably bankrupt now. I haven't really been paying that much attention to its actual chart positions everywhere so I assumed the album was collapsing. Gaga makes flopping look like winning 3 million+ sold in four weeks worldwide :'( :'( :'(

I was at Olive Garden last night and they had a special promotion: endless soup, salad, and copies of Born this Way.

Lady GaGa Racks Up 9 Nominations At The 2011 PMA'sby David Perkins As one of the most anticipated music events of the year, the nominations for the 2011 Pulse Music Awards were announced Saturday night. While GaGa may not have the most nominations, she still got a fantastic 9. Since the eligibility period was April 2010 - April 2011, the only eligible piece of work GaGa had was for her hit single "Born This Way", along with herself being eligible in the artist categories. I think the question on everyone's mind though is, "What will GaGa show up wearing?" The awards will be held on August 7th in The Lounge. Her nominations include the following: Song of the Year *Born This Way, Lady Gaga Single of the Year *Born This Way, Lady Gaga Pop Artist of the Year *Lady Gaga Pop Single of the Year *Born This Way, Lady Gaga International Artist of the Year *Lady Gaga Dance Artist of the Year *Lady Gaga Dance Song of the Year *Born This Way, Lady Gaga Dance Single of the Year *Born This Way, Lady Gaga Music Video Artist of the Year *Lady Gaga SOURCE

That BTW/EOG performance in Tokyo was AMAZING (though did she mess up BTW lyrics once the beat came in? don't care).
