We don't know when the single is going to come out. December seems like a likely month since things are pointing to a February release for Born This Way. If not December, then the latest I see the single coming out is January. I think I would prefer a January release, personally. She could like release the song on on January 1st, which would make for an awesome start to the new year.

Will her new album take a completely new direction? She has a unique strong voice and hopfully she has some ballads as well as songs with stories and messages.
I can't even imagine how high her first week sales will be.

I can't even imagine how high her first week sales will be. They WILL be high, but not too high, being released in the 1st quarter. She won't be getting Taylor numbers the 1st week (although she could sell as many over the long haul). |

I have a feeling that her album's opening week will perform similarly to Sade's Soldier Of Love which opened just over 500,000. I think GaGa could manage 600-650 K with the right single.

Well it's not like the Feb. date was ever official and actually it was only a couple of days ago that I heard it'd been pushed back. Also, plenty of artists come out on magazines after album releases so really her being on the cover of VF doesn't tell us much. |

She's as big in the pop industry as Taylor Swift is in the country industry. The only advantage Taylor has is that she is played on multiple formats, Gaga isn't. Because of that, I won't predict anywhere near 1 million for the first week. But somewhere between 500k-750k seems possible. |

The 24-year-old pop superstar will shoot the cover overseas later this month with renowned photographer Mario Testino. Gaga reportedly will be the cover star for the spring fashion issue. I would predict first week sales between 500-700k, with a good lead single. GaGa had a huge year and has a very loyal fan base already

I already have my heart set on a March release date for her album. :O I hope the week of my birthday. This is based on nothing only her schedule of appearances in magazines and interviews and stuff. Seems to be a lot of stuff planned for around then. I'd say late March though since the single probably won't drop until the first week of January.
Normally I don't hope for long albums but I do kinda hope GaGa's album is like 18 tracks long. What if it's only 8 tracks? I'd want a second record by the Fall, that's for sure.
