I kinda think we wont see pop/rock GaGa until all the hoopla dies and that could happen sooner or later. It will depend from album to album IMO
But yes i do think Summer 2010 would be a good time for new stuff.

I like the grandiose, over-the-top piano balladry that she does, like "Speechless" and "You and I". Then again, I am a big fan of Elton John's 70's ballads. I think she pulls them off quite well, actually. Being a trained pianist, I expect her to go that route, rather than, say, Alicia who used to play Mozart and Beethoven and now just plinks aimlessly at the keys.

Yeah I definitely didn't mean that I'd like more songs like "Speechless" and also wasn't referring to the typical pop/rock sound either. I just meant dance/beat driven songs that just happen to have some prominent guitar in them.
A good example would be something like "If" by Janet Jackson.
It's not that I want her to change her entire sound, I just think she needs some variety to her songs otherwise I do think she will be "stuck". If her next album is the same as Fame and Fame Monster then I think she's for sure screwed if she ever tries to do anything else, including coming up with a good piano ballad.

Unlike Speechless, it not only shows her writing ability but it shows off her improvement in writing ballads in particular. I'm looking forward to the RedOne and DarkChild tracks the most. The material she has done with RedOne has been all amazing and I loved Telephone when it leaked  . |

My station had a Fame/Fame Mons†er marathon yesterday in the afternoon. I got to hear Monster, LoveGame, Speechless, and Alejandro.  Wish I had heard Dance In the Dark or Teeth though. |

Those pics are so amazing . I really hope she sweeps the MVAS. She's been so consistent this year and has definetely put out quality material. Hopefully we get a new single @ the top of January. |

She looks soooo much better without all the drag queen makeup and outfits. She looks like a normal, cute girl in those pics. BTW- is that Perez Hilton in those photos ? Her strange association with that scumbag subconsciously makes me think a little less of her just because one should question how anyone can be "friends" with a bitter person who makes a living by drawing genitals on people's faces and poking fun at their children.  |
