"Courage" is heartbreaking and beautiful omg. "Imperfections" is very modern, yet the lyrical content is still very Celine. "Lying Down" is theatrical and dramatic. I love all three tracks. This album is gonna be fire.

All three songs scream Lazy....there is an extreme lack of effort on production as well as vocals. Its sad because i am sure Celine can still belt.

Does Celine have to wail on every song? There are stronger vocals on the chorus of "Lying Down" than 90% of popular singers today. What are we exepecting? Three minutes of unrestrained belting? Her vocals are still very much there (could work on tone a bit, but nevertheless).

Agreed, the vocals are still there, but it's very bland material. "Imperfections" is the best of the three.

The vocals are very demure and it's a fact. People need to stop trying to make "arguing against facts" a trend in 2k19.

Something that is purely subjective isn't a fact. Now that is a fact for you sis. You mean to tell me these are powerhouse vocals? Girl.... Who said powerhouse vocals? Not I. There is belting in the chrous of "Lying Down" along with higher notes. "Imperfections" is a chill song that isn't made for belting and with "Courage" it is all about the emotion behind her voice (which is very palpable), not to showcase range. People act as if the woman doesn't have a million live performances over the last few years available on YouTube to prove she still has one of the best voices in the industry and if they need proof. Not every song has to have wailing just because she is famous for it. Regardless, I am sure the album will have those songs as well to appease the belt queens.

I think the songs are very boring. The single that was released this past summer, "Flying On My Own," was better, even if I wasn't too crazy about it.

I love these 3 songs. Love the vocal, love the production, love the lyrics. Courage is my favorite. The only true vocalist from the 90 still in the game. And she just started a 2 year tour that will make her the highest grossing female artist of all time and it will probably be in the top 3 biggest tour by a female artist of all time. That's Celine freaking Dion!

I love Queen Celine but all 3 of those songs are ass to me boring and tepid and production is a bit too evident for the type of songs they are. If I wanted to be bored I'd listen to Sam Smith's albums.
I'll say this though she has been through a tough time and if depressing music helps her cope I'm for it but I just dont want to get depressed listening to it.
This is the most ill ever criticize a legend who is past their prime they deserve respect but those songs just were lackluster. She is always going to be a legend to me so it dont matter.

All 3 are good songs, but Lying Down is the best of the 3. Imperfections is a cute bop too.

I was wondering the other day, why did Sony decided to release "Call The Man" as the last single from "Falling Into You"? They had so many better options, "Make You Happy" or "Declaration Of Love" would be perfect singles for the 97' summer.

I was wondering the other day, why did Sony decided to release "Call The Man" as the last single from "Falling Into You"? They had so many better options, "Make You Happy" or "Declaration Of Love" would be perfect singles for the 97' summer. Unsure, maybe they felt it would perform better in European countries/outside North America. I always found it ridiculous she only had three state-side singles with Falling Into You ("Because You Loved Me", "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", and "All By Myself") and even more so that Let's Talk About Love only had just one commercial release ("My Heart Will Go On") and two radio only singles ("Tell Him" and "To Love You More", which likely would have had a nice Hot 100 peak if released physically as it peaked at #11 on Hot 100 Airplay). Still, I suppose when the cumulative sales of those two albums are 63 million (WW) they sorta knew what they were doing (obviously sacrificing better Hot 100 peaks for more sales). Regardless, in a lot of instances, they had shoddy single choices.

Ziggy, il s'appelle Ziggy Je suis folle de lui C'est un garçon pas comme les autres Mais moi, je l'aime, c'est pas d'ma faute Même si je sais qu'il ne m'aimera jamais Ha, I jokingly posted this when the Pepe rumors came out, but she said in a BBC Radio 2 interview today (1:57 in; it's the last song) that this song has a new life now because of him.

All three songs scream Lazy....there is an extreme lack of effort on production as well as vocals. Its sad because i am sure Celine can still belt. Whaaaaaat. Disclaimer: I’ve never fucked with Céline Dion. She’s a bit before my time. I remember A New Day Has Come on the radio as a kid, and know she’s a vocal icon, but never checked for her material. Courage and Lying Down have me NEEDING this album. I agree Flying On My Own is...not it, but those two tracks..holy shit. Sometimes a fan, you don’t look at things objectively because you’re biased towards past material a favourites that resonated with you at a particular point in your life, but I’m hearing raw vulnerability and some really brilliant expressions of where’s she’s at.

Seeing her in under 2 weeks! 10 year old me would be so delighted! 20 year old me wouldn't care at all. 30 year old me would be pleased. Current me is looking forward to it! You weren’t going to one of the Montreal shows that’s been rescheduled (I hope)?

As her tour has an album-redemption offer, are we thinking Courage could open with 200,000-plus? I count 52 U.S dates. An average of 13,000 attendance per date, with a 25% redemption rate, would be around 169,000 sales.
