^Given that she's a top concert draw, and this is an arena tour, I'd concur. :)

Seeing her in under 2 weeks! 10 year old me would be so delighted! 20 year old me wouldn't care at all. 30 year old me would be pleased. Current me is looking forward to it! You weren’t going to one of the Montreal shows that’s been rescheduled (I hope)? Yep, there and back now.

Céline seems to get throat viruses a lot... is she, like, a hypochondriac or something? Hope you had a fun time anyway and had some good steak tartare... Will you go back next month?

Just love the fact that her albums always have so many songs now listening to Taking chances album will One love later She did state in early September that she had enough material for her 'next four albums.' I'm sure she was joking, but she mentioned something like 48 songs down to 12, but obviously they decided to include 20. And I'm a bit surprised the two standalones: "Recovering" and TSMGO didn't make it on the deluxe. I didn't expect the soundtrack songs: HDAMLF or Ashes to get on. Is the belief that the potential ticket redemption will give her a real shot at #1 (unless Adele releases the week before)?

Just love the fact that her albums always have so many songs now listening to Taking chances album will One love later Actually I hate that. Most of her albuns would be even better if she had cut 4-5 songs from them. Taking Chances is a really good example of that.

The only songs I would remove from Taking Chances are "Skies of L.A.", "Right Next To The Right One", and "A Song For You".

Favorites (outside of pre-release tracks):
"Change My Mind" (those high belts) "Baby" "How Did You Get Here" "Look At Us Now" "Perfect Goodbye" (dead at hearing her sing "s**t")
The sound is different for Celine at points. Didnt expect the 50s/doo wop vibe of "How Did You Get Here". They could have trimmed the album by a good 4-5 tracks and had a great album. Not her best at all, but there is some good material in there!

After listening to the entirery of this project for a bit, I feel like this could have been a much stronger album had they cut the excess and added the four bonus tracks to the standard. The "excess":
"Flying On My Own" (rather generic, doesn't age well, and doesn't sticks out like a sore thumb on the album).
"The Chase" (dated and rather bland. Could have been on Let's Talk About Love).
"Nobody's Watching" (same as the prior: bland and dated).
"I Will Be Stronger" (boring and drags).
"Say Yes" (again, boring and drags).
The album would be much stronger with this tracklisting:
1.) "Best Of All" 2.) "Lovers Never Die" 3.) "Falling In Love" 4.) "Lying Down" 5.) "Courage" 6.) "Imperfections" 7.) "Change My Mind" 8.) "The Hard Way" 9.) "Boundaries" 10.) "For The Lover That I Lost" 11.) "Baby" 12 ) "Heart Of Glass" 13.) "How Did You Get Here" 14.) "Look At Us Now" 15.) "Perfect Goodbye"

I'm wondering if the new Westlife album will outsell Courage in the U.K. and other markets?

I'm wondering if the new Westlife album will outsell Courage in the U.K. and other markets? People shouldn't be expecting much in sales from Celine when it comes to any market, so likely. lol

I'm thinking a 75-90k debut for the USA.

I'm thinking a 75-90k debut for the USA. Her last album Loved Me Back To Life opened with 77k six years ago. I am thinking closer to 30-50k. "Courage" music video Looks like they shot every video for this album on the same stage with different backdrops. Cheap, but at least it is something I suppose.

Ava- even with an album-redemption offer - tied to an arena tour- you're expecting just 30-50K?

I'm thinking a 75-90k debut for the USA. And that includes redemptions? Wow. I had no idea the tour was doing that badly. But I guess the low sales predictions aren't really surprising - it's around #8-10 on the iTunes pre-order "all-time bestsellers' - and it's been available for weeks longer than the ones ahead of it (Tory Lanez, Frozen 2). It doesn't really matter - it's not like she's going to stop releasing music.

I'm thinking a 75-90k debut for the USA. I think it'll be toward the higher end of that prediction, especially with the ticket bundle. If Christina could sell nearly 70K with a bundle for mid-sized venues, Celine should definitely trend closer to 100K with arenas.

Was unaware she had a bundle. Could do closer to 70-90k then. I'm thinking a 75-90k debut for the USA. And that includes redemptions? Wow. I had no idea the tour was doing that badly. It doesn't really matter - it's not like she's going to stop releasing music. Celine is one of the biggest touring acts in the world. Her last world tour (Taking Chances) was the fourth highest grossing tour of all time initially after its run with $280 million earned at the box office (only one Madonna tour had grossed more for females at that point). That coupled with her wildly successful Vegas residencies makes it hard to believe that her touring ability would suddenly plummet and this tour would be "struggling". Usually doesn't work like that for legacy acts who have proven to pull in big numbers.

I always figured Celine is still a popular touring draw + commands high ticket prices from very willing Boomer/Senior fans. On and happy note, "Unison" returned to Spotify this morning. I have a "Removed" playlist and suddenly Celine's B&W album cover graced it - it's black screen if no active tracks.

Wow. I had no idea the tour was doing that badly. I didn't either... especially since she keeps adding dates and is doing five arena shows in the New York City area alone..

The tour is selling well.
Not everyone who sees a legacy act redeems the new album.

The tour is selling well. Not everyone who sees a legacy act redeems the new album. I bought three tickets and could only redeem one CD. Not sure if that was the same as all dates, but it was just one redemption per order. That would significantly decrease potential redemptions.

This is her first album with a parental advisory sticker, simply because she used the word "shit" (3 times) in the chorus of perfect goodbye

Posters at UKMix are expecting a 150k+ debut in the USA. Based on strong album redemptions... I don't know. Unless they are industry insiders I don't see how their predictions should be taken anymore seriously than anyone else's here. lol It is interesting to note that Celine is one of only 8 artists to top 1 billion in touring revenue ever. Her two Vegas residencies remain the top-grossing Vegas residencies of all time with a collective $681 million between the two. $960 million of that overall figure comes from the last 15 years. There were two articles from Billboard talking about her residencies and her $1.08 billion touring total. I linked one below: www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8515781/celine-dion-wraps-historic-16-year-run-las-vegas-681-million
