I was disappointed quite a bit with "Falling Away" since it seemed about as generic post-grungy as you could get compared to the self-titled album, which was halfway decent. Since I believe none of their singles off of "Falling Away" charted on Alternative and they only did decently on Active Rock, I can't see this making a big splash either as it doesn't seem tremendously impressive.

This track along with another song that they leaked awhile ago that was really dark are two of my favorite tracks of Crossfade's career. I forget what the other one was called, but I liked it even more. Anybody know what song I'm talking about?
This doesn't sound extremely radio friendly, but between the two songs I've heard so far, this may be the first Crossfade album I buy. "Killing Me Inside" has a lot of really neat key/chord changes and a really interesting form. This kinda feels like 'Black Gives Way To Blue' era Alice In Chains. I remember the other track that I can't recall the name of having a really eerie ambience to it with really nice piano lines.
EDIT: Nevermind, the other song I heard that I really liked was called "We All Bleed" so I guess it's the title track.

The only "heavy" song I know from Crossfade is "Starless" from their first album, and that might have been their best track, come to think about it. I'm surprised they're still making music though.

Another heavy song from their first album was "The Disco". "Starless", "The Disco", and the two leaked tracks off their upcoming record are all among my favorite songs from them. Though on the polar opposite end of the heaviness spectrum, I also liked "The Unknown" quite a bit.

I really like this, actually. But that shouldn't surprise me, I've found every Crossfade song I've ever heard at least somewhat enjoyable. Then again, I haven't exactly raided their catalog. I've heard about a handful of their songs, the singles have been good but apparently not enticing enough for me to check out an album.
EDIT: Upon further inspecting, I wasn't kidding about a handful. This is the fifth Crossfade song I've ever heard: "Cold," "Colors," "Invincible," "Drown You Out," and now "Killing Me Inside." All really good songs actually, perhaps I'll actually check out the new album.

How'd you miss "So Far Away"? That was their biggest hit other than "Cold": top 5 on active rock and roughly #15 on alternative.

I noticed that I had missed both that one and "Already Gone" upon checking out their discography on wikipedia. I've never even heard "Cold" on a rock station, the only time I ever heard it was on one (both) of my pop stations.
I then checked out "Colors" on a recommendation, I heard "Invincible" on a rock station while I was on vacation one year, and I saw the video to "Drown You Out" on Music Choice or something I believe (I was at a buddies house for that one, I don't have that channel).
A song basically has to be a multi-week number one or Adam Gontier-sung for my local station to put it into regular rotation.

Well you should check out "So Far Away" given that you like everything you've heard from them and that it was a fairly sizable hit...unless you want to keep it a handful haha.

Hmm well in that case you can listen to "We All Bleed" off their upcoming album to make sure you get there. ;)

Meh. By now, I'm convinced Crossfade will always be a one-hit wonder for me. They will never top "Cold", which is one of my favorite ballads ever.

They will never top "Cold", which is one of my favorite ballads ever. Um, I don't consider "Cold" to be a ballad, or even a power ballad. ???

It's like drinking alcohol -- awesome unless you consume too much, in which case you want to throw up

Fairly good, I suppose. Could do something if pushed.

I'm surpised Eleven Seven isn't pushing a single from them right now.

Checking out some of their older stuff.
In "Cold", Tony Byroads kinda sounds like Chad Kroeger.
