Another slow jam from Mr. Hernandez! This one is loaded with vocoders. I don't like it that much even though I loved "If You Were Mine". This isn't catchy or moving or anything. Blah.

I heard it last night on KPHW. It has 9 spins there this week. It features NB Ridaz? I wasn't impressed on first listen. Here's a clip.

Sigh...why are more and more artists releasing back-to-back ballads these days?
Still - I'd like to hear this one.[/font]

I still haven't heard this in Dallas. Surprising since he's from here. If You Were Mine recieved Power Rotation here in May before he was signed to TVT, so I was expecting this to be overplayed by now as well.

From what I heard, this song is tight. I am glad he took a chance with releasing this, but that vocoder is so 80s.

Interesting...so TVT just picked up him up because of his first song over the summer? I was hearing it all over Florida before August was out. He just strikes me as a one hit wonder for some reason, but who knows.

The label has some good street teams and word-of-mouth in Miami and the rest of Florida (mostly because of labelmate Pitbull), so it was picked up there first. Then the label just pushed the song for adds nationally on Pop about a month later. TVT also forced him to quickly write 4 new songs in a shear 3 months for a full album release, which included "If I'd Known". These 4 tracks were not on the independent label CD released in May, which was exclusive to the Dallas market.

Nice follow-up single.
They shoulda kept "Mission For A Dream" from the original album, and put it as a bonus track for the big label release.

I wouldve liked "Get Personal" produced by Scott Storch better. A real smooth song.
