Nice to see Love The Way You Lie holding at #2. Hopefully it can keep that up so it can eventually get to #1. It's still #1 on iTunes.

I must have missed this, but when was Eminem's credit removed from Airplanes? Does that mean he doesn't get credit for the top 5 peak?

I doubt "I Gotta Feeling" will reach 60 weeks, but, lawdy, is it stubborn or what? hehe It does have the longest consecutive Hot 100 run for a No. 1 hit, if I'm not mistaken ("Macarena" accumulated 60 weeks, but it initially debuted in September 1995, spent 20 weeks on and then re-entered in May 1996, logging 40 more weeks).

Thanks to digital sales, Power has managed a #22 peak, which is far better than Diamonds and CTMN's narrowly missing top 40. It has also seemingly already peaked in airplay with 15 million AI, which isn't too great.
What's Kanye's next move?

He could re-release "Paranoid" which was by far the best single off his last album which didn't go anywhere!!

Also, even if you consider it the same song, the original is getting more airplay, so BB will use the original for peaks and stuff.

However, a couple months ago, Billboard included Eminem on the credits of "Airplanes" in the published chart. I have the magazine where Em is on the cover and they list all his top 10 hits. "Airplanes" is included. Was this an error on their part? It was the week that Em also debuted at #1 with "Not Afraid."

"Tik Tok" is out of the Hot 100. "Need You Now" is #21.
Will Billboard still count TT's sales and airplay for the year-end Hot 100? I'm not sure.
In a simple inverse point system, NYN would already be ahead:
01 2951 Need You Now Lady Antebellum * 02 2832 TiK ToK Ke$ha 03 2831 Hey, Soul Sister Train * 04 2656 Bad Romance Lady Gaga 05 2533 Telephone Lady Gaga FT. Beyoncé * 06 2406 I Gotta Feeling The Black Eyed Peas * 07 2373 In My Head Jason Derülo * 08 2161 BedRock Young Money FT. Lloyd 09 2116 Say Aah Trey Songz FT. Fabolous 10 2087 Sexy Chick David Guetta FT. Akon
But, to give an idea, using Mediabase audience + SoundScan sales, it is 80,000 points behind (Hot 100 uses BDS audience + Soundscan sales + Online streaming):
1. TIK TOK ~670,000 points. 2. NEED YOU NOW ~590,000 points.

Hot 100 year-end rankings are based on time in the Hot 100 - only

Eminem's "Not Afraid" was 1000th Hot 100 #1, right?

Wasn't I Kissed A Girl the 1000th #1 when you took into account the previous incarnations of the Hot 100 in the 50s or something like that?

^ "I Kissed A Girl" was the 1000th No. 1 of the rock era and the 961st on the Hot 100 Right. According to Billboard, the rock and roll era started the week ending July 9th, 1955 when "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley & The Comets went to #1 on their then current chart. However, the Hot 100 didn't debut until the week of Aug 4th, 1958 with "Poor Little Fool" by Ricky Nelson being the 1st #1 on that chart. There were exactly 39 #1 songs between July 1955 and the end of July 1958, so "I Kissed A Girl" being the 961st one sounds about right.
