Yeah, ever since Billboard re-did their website, I've found it to be full of bugs and constantly crossing artists' pictures like that.

It's just too busy and cluttered, with those widgets and all, too. I miss the old plain "magazine" style it had a few years back. Was more black and white, the charts looked like charts. There are too many things to click on now.

The only widget I LOVE is the Chart Visualizer because it shows the entire chart run and not just a peak. The only problem is, it doesn't work on all the songs.  |

The important thing to look at is the last item: the 7th day for "CG" was a Friday. Note how the daily spins exploded from 170 on Tuesday to 258 on Wednesday and kept going from there (until Friday, at least). "Teenage Dream" is seeing something similar, except its first-Tuesday total was even higher than "California Girls". Let's line things up a little better:
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday:
CG: 170, 258, 367, 461
TD: 217, 260, 368, ???
So if the trend continues, "TD" could see a 400+ spin jump tomorrow, which would put it at #28, or *maybe* #27 if Adam Lambert has a particularly bad day. (CG's 2nd Saturday and 2nd Sunday had 348 and 434 spins respectively.) It appears to be heading for the space between B.o.B and Nicki Minaj, which would be the same #25 debut position "CG" took in its first week in the top 40.

I doubted it a bit initially but this is a #1 track. After repeated listens, I'm sure of it. It might just miss the top but it's definitely headed in that direction. With it connecting and clicking with more and more people, there will be no stopping this. People just won't be able to resist that shakey-groovy feeling.

I think they got Katy confused with Taylor Swift.
Katy's first week will be interesting though because One of the Boys was released before she really hit it big so we don't know her first week selling power. I could see her both surprising people or disappointing people.
