I keep hearing chris cox is denying it but I still have hope. I don't think hosh would have posted this if it wasn't really big news. Barry said last year they'd never get back but I mean his friggin facebook profile pic is currently him and chris! Idk why chris would be opposed-his career isn't exactly big right now. He's been known to do some tp sounding solo mixes still like Tina sugandh "break me" for example

I would LOVE to see this happen. After all these years apart, there would hopefully be so much creativity that would be brought to a new project from them. (I'm sure the money couldn't hurt either). Hope it's true.

They'd never make the kind of money they did. So much has changed

They'd never make the kind of money they did. So much has changed Of course I mean relatively speaking. (I've personally seen the checks go from what they were to what they are, so I know the deal)

Or is that just an urban legend?

It was said in a discussion about this very subject at the other boards a year or so ago that Maurice Joshua got 5 like figures for a certain Beyonce mix that he did in the early/mid 2000's. :o

I've heard from a couple different sources that David Morales earned $40,000 for his remix package for "Scream" by Michael Jackson - that was at the height of DM's popularity, and also the height of the record labels spending obscene amounts of money on just about everything. The most expensive video in history too was "Scream". From what I heard it was such a high-profile song and the vocals were being kept so under-wraps that they didn't even trust him with the acapella....Sony actually flew David out to the Neverland Ranch to produce his remix from scratch (or maybe it was just their in-house studios somewhere in LA). Make that 3 remixes actually - I think DM did the main Classic Club Mix, an R&B-ish type mix, and a dub or two. Don't quote me on any of this, it's just what I remember hearing from a few people back in the day.
