Any info on David Cook's 2nd album?

Just curious if anyone has any info on David Cook's 2nd album? I know he's been working on it since January and have not heard anything really too much.

While I don't think this thread is fits standards for this forum (it's supposed to be about radio singles), you'd also have a much better chance getting David Cook info in the CHR/pop part of the forum. That said, I don't think you can ask a question like this as a thread. Try the general artist discussion section of the forum.

In an interview with Idolatry's Michael Slezak on February 8, 2010 Cook revealed that he is hard at work on his second album. He has been collaborating with Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk, Gregg Wattenberg, John Rzeznik, Sam Hollander & Dave Katz, Claude Kelly, Brian Howes, David Hodges, Tommy Henriksen, Steven Van Zandt, Kevin Griffin, Zac Maloy, Matt Squire, Ryan Tedder, Jim Irvin & Julian Emery, and members of his band The Anthemic - Neal Tiemann and Andy Skib. In an April interview with HitQuarters - recorded in March - the producer-songwriter Steve Mac said that Cook had recently visited his Rokstone Studios in London where together with Mac he had also been writing with Savan Kotecha and Andrew Frampton.

Please forgive my tangent, but good lord. In other words, another record label is going to overspend on the production of an album. Not shocking news at all. Brilliantly done Mr. Record Exec. I wonder who will end up producing in the end, Howard Benson? Why is it that you're hemorrhaging money again? Oh yes, nevermind...

This is the movie equivalent of a film studio exec blowing up a movie budget by hiring Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman for 15-20 mil a pop (neither of which can open a film on their own anymore) and then sitting back when it bombs or underperforms and says 'it's not my fault, look at who I hired. i did everything in my power to make the movie a hit.'
